Great for a stay over for Stanstead. Comfortable bed and friendly staff.
Bathroom in room 7 needed updating and maintenance. General areas leading to the rooms were tired and needed smartening up.

What a cozy little pub with great food and staff. We stayed after a wedding for a day of relaxation and it was lovely. Very welcoming staff, all very lovely, but especially Mia who really looked after us and made us feel at home.

Friendly, helpful staff who made us feel very welcome. Lovely breakfast. Nice setting on the village green, and fun, cricketting names for things.

The food was exceptional, and the Breakfast in the morning was excellent.
The service in the pub was superb.
The room was a good size and the bed was extremely comfortable.
The surrounding area was also really nice.
The shower was not good, when turning the shower on there was hardly any water so was difficult to have a good shower.
When coming down for breakfast I did notice a lot of flies that were on the sliced bread for toast, I really think that this should if been covered, so I have it a miss.
Would be good if there was an iron in the room.
On the first evening I stayed I was due at an event. For which I was delayed because taxis rarely go to the pub and consequently had to end up driving myself to the event.
When booking maybe this should be highlighted.
