Bel hôtel

Cadre magnifique, belle chambre, belle piscine et personnel sympathique. L'endroit est très calme et reposant. Des activités gratuites sont proposées comme le kayak et la navette pour les plages - 2 fois par semaine - et la location de vélo. Bon petit déjeuner.

Quelques déboires au restaurant de l'hôtel: service long, plats manquants sur la carte ou modifiés sans nous prévenir du coup les derniers jours nous avons mangé à l'extérieur. Organisation au restaurant à revoir malgré un personnel très sympathique. Les vélos ne sont pas en bon état. La sortie à la plage un peu courte, à peu près 2h30.

A delightful honeymoon spot to relax and bond

Beautiful place with amazing atmosphere and kind staff. We were there in the rainy season, and it was still great - we would recommend you to rent a scooter or car though, just because you're a bit further away from everything!

Exceptional stay

I loved everything about this place. The concept at this retreat is well-thought-out. The whole resort is absolutely beautiful and you immediately feel relaxed once you set a foot in there. The day I arrived, I laid down in my bed and had lots of ants in there. I went to reception and they immediately gave me an upgrade to another room and I highly appreciated that. This is how the service at a great resort should be like. In general, statt is incredibly welcoming and every single dish I had at this retreat was amazing. They use fresh ingredients, some of them even grow in their gardens, and you can really taste the difference. Their breakfast was superb too and I also loved their fresh juices. I also did an abdominal detox massage with Kailash, which had quite an effect on me. Apart from giving amazing detox massages and yoga classes, Kailash is one of those kind of humans whose energy will stay with you for quite a while. I’ve been on a one year world trip, which is coming to an end in a few days. The stay here at The Spa Koh Chang was my favorite one in my whole year and I’m grateful that they made my last days on this trip so memorable.

The green surroundings and landscape. Nice views from the restaurant. Food quality is good ( when it finally arrives)

Unprofessional ill trained staff. Room amenities not working properly. ( AC wasn't cooling flooded the room with water). Restaurant staff difficult to deal with and service really really slow. Hard to communicate ( very few people speak English) . Strangely being a spa hotel they charge 300 thb for a basic facility like sauna. ( and 400 thb for a yoga class - would have been a nice touch to make it complimentary) The hotel is also on a quieter side of the island ( not a bad thing) but it's really far away from any good views of the beach or other restaurants.

Dreamy nature spa

It is paradise on earth. Chilled vibe,immerse in a jungle of every kind of flowers and plants. Sustainable spa, they grow their own veggies and some fruits. Plenty of healthy Vegan and vegetarian options. Rooms are stunning, massage even more. We couldn’t ask for more. A piece of real Thailand away from resorts.

Amazing spot in the mangroves

The room was beautiful. the staff were amazing. Lek gave amazing massage, Olivia gave amazing yoga lessons every morning. When the tide is right, you can canoe in the beautiful mangrove. Amazing. Wery quiet place where you can relax. there is a small shop on the mainroad. You can also go for a walk ( 1 hour) to a small village with a restaurant. You should definately get a room on the hill. we had one with an outdoor bathtub, but would have settled with one without but still upper hill.

Nothing, but it would be very nice with some hooks in the bathroom. there is no place to hang a towel.

Nice location with more potential

- the Location is great: quite and beautiful. - the Room is nice decorated and very comfortable. - the private Pool was fine with a nice view. - the Personal was helpful and kind. - possibility to use the kayak + bike for free (you should reserved a time for the kayak just in case) - few Restaurants around with delicious local food.

- the Location is not easy to reach so that no taxi wanted to drop us for less than 800Bath. So arrange a pick with the hotel for 500Bath. What we still find expensive because other minibus clients were dropped to their hotel for free. - our private pool was not super private because located on the „Main“ street, it was possible to see our outdoor area very clearly from the Restaurant and the opposite side. - the food in the restaurant could be better. As the western food did not taste (in our opinion) good. And the choice was quite limited, so we had to eat outside, most of the time. - Breakfast was correct but could be more various especially for the fruits (even in dry season there are more fruits that grow in Thailand beside watermelon and pineapple)

Fantastic place to relax, do yoga and detox if you’re that way inclined.

Breakfast, either short staffed or kitchen to small to cater for more than a few people at a time. one small coffee pot for 20 plus people. food at buffet needed topping up frequently. All low fat high sugar food, supposedly “healthy”. Food from menu was good 👍

Bland food options, tired rooms but peaceful surroundings

Nice surroundings but gardens not very well taken care of. Interesting wildlife such as bats sleeping above the pool which was very cool. Many beautiful butterflies too. Easy to arrange a car to the pier. Good quality motorbike for rent at a decent price.

Very poor food selection, mostly very bland vegan and vegetarian food with no delicious options for those who want to indulge on holiday. The "American breakfast" includes a tofu patty for example. We only went for breakfast on the first day then travelled around 12km for breakfast on the other days. The private pool villa was very overlooked by neighbouring rooms, the path in front of the room and the restaurant. Very unsafe for children as the balcony barrier in front of the pool is only a few inches high with a 1 storey drop into a muddy pond, but fine for adults. The hotel didn't allow us change to a more private room. The rain shower was not working and to get hot water you need to have a very weak flow.

Nice and secluded resort for relaxing and not in a touristic part of the island.

It Is a vert nice resort and rooms/villa's look like the pictures. The food we had high expectations from the reviews but at first was a bit blunt, after we ordered different things like the massaman curry it was amazing! I got a bit sick during our stay and they went out to get medicine for me so that was really nice of them. Staff is really nice and friendly. It a very beautiful serene stay with some activities to do aswell. The 'smart' TV works a bit different when using a pc mouse so no remote control out of bed haha.

At the checkout we had to pay a day extra for our scooter rent. It is per 24 hour but instead of handing in the key at night at 19.00 we did it earlier in the morning at check out but it costs us an extra day. Also we requested a special anniversary extra during diner wich was a bouquet and a bottle of red wine, this was very expensive compare to everything else. But we liked the effort they put it to arrange it. But maybe if you want something like this ask for prices first. When you want to discover the other side of the island you have to rent a scooter and drive a long time. If you like to have more choice of restaurants for dinner this is al very far away so we ate at the resort everyday. Just to keep in mind if you like eat differently everyday. Swimming pool could use a good clean up ;) but it's surrounded by jungle so a lot of plants come in the water.

Impeccable service. Just go!

Super amazing staff; environment is perfect - far enough from the noise and the unsophistication of the tourist spots that you can really relax (but close enough in case you fancy a social evening. or two) - Spa Koh Chang is different, with a magical landscape that you will notice immediately. Ask for Olivia, she is a special human being ❤️
