Very poor service at restaurant - had to wait 1 hour for our dinner on last Friday Even breakfast was very average No labels on food.. Nothing felt fresh

GOOD ROOM AND FOOD MADE MY STAY A MEMORABLE ONE.

The dinner at the roof top restaurant was excellent so the ambiance was very good. Also the lunch at the Chinese restaurant was very good. Myself and guests all enjoyed the food and service.

Had an uncomfortable dinner experience in the Terrace restaurant "At sea level". Though the layout & ambience in the restaurant was very fine , mosquitoes made it most uncomfortable while seated. This issue is to be seriously addressed & fixed quickly .

Die Lage des Hotels in einem grünen und relativ ruhigen Viertel von Chennai ist einladend. Das Raintree St. Marys Road erhebt keinen Anspruch auf Schickimicki, aber bietet bei einem vernünftigen Preis Alles, was es braucht..

Die Hintergrundmusik beim Frühstück ist irritierend - der Klavierspieler sollte verhaftet werden. Nachmittags auf der kleinen Dachterrasse, wo häufig eine angenehme Brise herrscht, scheint man eher geduldet, als erwünscht.

Jederzeit wieder. Das Hotel eignet sich hervorragend als Ausgangspunkt für Sightseeing und Touren.

Das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Check-In ist professionell und schnell. Das Dach-Restaurant mit seinem tollen Ausblick ist großartig. Die Lage zwischen Flughafen und Innenstadt optimal, um alles ohne Probleme und großen Zeitwand zu erreichen.

Excellent, we would stay there again if in Chennai for a few days.

The room was very nice, breakfast was excellent, we also had a good meal at the roof-top restaurant, and the staff were helpful and friendly.

Very friendly staff,great breakfast buffet.

Bathroom water had a foul smell and taste Bathroom drainage was smelling foul. Charged Rs 200 for a Rs 35 water bottle.

A really luxurious hotel

The great straff who went our of their way to help us with everything. The fabulous breakfast. The terrace and the pool.

It was sincerely enjoyable and a comfortable experience.

Stay Included Breakfast which was excellent. Staff were always helpful with arranging taxi or Uber etc. Ambience was superb, including entertainment and decor. Beautiful furnishings and tasteful layout.

Maintenance of daily patrons needs to be looked at. There was no replenishment of Teas, Coffees, Milk and Sugar, has to ask for it.

Excellent hotel with wonderful staffs

Wonderful hospitality, excellent staffs, helpful reception and room service. enjoyed the pool in terrace. Breakfast is excellent, lot of south indian options and live counters.

The relatively quiet leafy location within the city. A warmth amd personalised care felt all through the stay made the trip enjoyable and hassle free for me. As a native of tamilnadu who lives in the UK , the welcome sugarcane drink brought memories back instantly and the spread of “multi cuisine capable “ chefs in the cohort in the restaurant, made me feel the aunthenticity of the dishes served( be it South Indian or other).The extra mile the F&B staff go and the housekeeping staff go to make it so easy to navigate any difficulties was a highlight. They are right up the top 10% I have seen worldwide and they do it in a non- imposing way.

Due to unforeseen changes to travel plans I had to extend at short notice. This information from online booking/ clarification from me to one staff member was not communicatted well within the front desk team . It could have been better for them to make note of it in the system ( in this day and age it should be straight forward) so that every staff do not keep calling me seperately for the same query.

Delightful Hotel in Chennai

The staff were generally quite nice with a few exceptions. The room was so spacious and the bed was so comfortable with a great pillows. The AC worked flawlessly. The shower was fabulous and massaging your body. The room service was excellent. The housekeeping was exceptional. The breakfast was good but lacked something. The dining staff were not as good as they could have been, often they ignored your requests or just forgot you. Generally everyone was very accommodating. I wasn't overly impressed with lobby, but it was clean and cute. Oh yes the front door staff were very respectful.

Getting to the hotel with one way roads was sometimes a nightmare. The shower heads need replacement, they look dated.

Very pleasant stay and would return without having to think about other options.

The staff at reception gave a very friendly reception and were helpful and obliging throughout. The dinner and breakfast choices and quality were excellent. The room is well equipped and presented and was great for relaxing before going for dinner.

Good place to stay, rooms are good and hygienic and hotel staff is supportive and responsive

Breakfast was good.

Food ordered, were really expensive. Tariff is also expensive. The hotel took 1 days room rent extra from my credict card instead of the rent for the actual stay. They realised this and called me and told me that they will refund the same. However, this took a lot of follow up and after some delay, i eventually got it back. But for the above expereience, very exepnsive food, higher room traiff; this hotel has been a good place to stay.
