Location is prrdect

The location to see the elephants was perfect, the swimming pool was fabulous

It is advertised as being disabled friendly, but there was no lift to upper floors, no steps or handrails into the pool

Der Blick auf die Elefanten, lässt den Rest vergessen!

Das beste an der Unterkunft ist der Blick auf die Elefanten! Perfekt zum ankommen und die ersten Tage entspannt zu genießen!

Der vorherige Kontakt mit dem Hotel war katastrophal! Sie haben uns sogar vergessen vom Flughafen abzuholen… Auch waren die Zimmer schon sehr abgewohnt.

Séjour inoubliable ! Fantastique moment

Tout était très bien ! La piscine incroyable , avec une vue de dingue… Le personnel adorable et attentionné Je recommande ! Malgré les mauvais avis que j’ai vu sur l’orphelinat , aucun déception … Ne payez juste pas l’entrée de l’orphelinat , il n y a rien de plus avoir qu’à l’hôtel

Not a brilliant stay, as rooms are not pleasant to stay in. The only thing that makes up for it is the view of the river

Nice lobby and restaurant, with lovely river views and elephants. Friendly staff.

No lifts to higher floors, rooms very outdated, ours actually had lizards coming in through the ceiling. We checked in before 4pm, therefore had to pay a charge to the elephant orphanage. If you check in after, you will not be able to see the elephants in the river until the next morning, when they are bathed.

Great experience

Love the elephants bathing, great pool to swim in. Rooms spacious and comfy

Our A.C. did not work and the room was like a greenhouse with the massive glass windows but they moved us to another room once they realised they could not fix it

Amazing location, friendly staff, nice pool, great views.

Great location on the river, pool overlooking the elephants. I was there in off-season (May) so hotel was quiet, which was nice. Staff were friendly. Restaurant area open air, overlooking river.

Odd that you can't check in till 4pm.

The elephant view you get from there is a once in a lifetime experience I highly recommend it.

I was charged 5000 RS for feeding an elephant which was not of course the idea of the staff but I believe the hotel would do something about the people that called me as they called me when I was inside the hotel ( 5000 rs is the full fare to get into the orphanage or even more ). Food is quite expensive and if you want to eat anything after 8 you won't have enough options ( I took an expensive Chicken sandwich ).

Absolutely amazing hotel,staff very friendly and welcoming, plenty food choice which was lovely..in a good area plenty shops things to see..will definitely book again but longer stay

Its a very nice location to relax and watch elephants

We had a river view room and beautiful view of elephants bathing.

Rooms and car park area are smelly and we had to change our room due to bad smell.

Nice hotel but this is not a orphanage! The elephants are exploited with one only purpose, still money from the tourists. Please don’t feed this! Don’t come to this place

Great location for elephant bathing

The location was amazing with the elephants bathing in the river

The hotel was a little tired and needed updating We were accosted prior to booking in by men who claimed to be staff from the hotel and taken to herb garden and elephant ride. I would be wary of this

The view from the Hotel was absolutley amazing, i cannot fault the location.

Unfortunately the service was super slow. We were at breakfast at 8.30am as soon as it opened, we were not served until 45minutes afterwards. The half board menu was bland but I guess you get what you pay for. The room was very uncomfortable and pillows were dirty.

Fantastic!!

The hotel was amazing!! The staff was amazing and the views overlooking the river where the elephants bathed was stunning. And the head waiter was truly outstanding and soooooooo helpful I highly recommend this hotel infact it's our favourite place so far!

disappointed

hotel has a good location

there was no hot water!!! it was partly raining outside and we were tired and a bit cold and even couldn’t take a proper shower because water was not hot it was a little bit warm. breakfast is not enough. coffee really bed, like u drink coloured water. I paid room for 2 (and breakfast for 2 as well), but they bring only one and I had to eat bread and butter because I was still hungry. there is a lot of moisture and that’s why the room is not so clean. curtain in bathroom (can’t understand why it’s there) is full of mold 🤢
