The house reef is amazing. Rooms were comfortable.

Communication with the property was a bit of a nightmare although we confirmed our arrival flights with the them and they acknowledged it when arriving they told us we didn’t confirm with them and got send to Dhonveli for 1 night. Another pool and extra deck chairs at the main beach would have been nice.

We had the best stay at Ellaidhoo from the second we arrived the staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The island is beautiful and there is so much to do to prevent you getting bored. We took the speedboat transfer option and while it was quite rough on our journey to the island we found it very enjoyable! We stayed in the beach bungalow and the staff were very accommodating to get us a bungalow with direct access to the beach as we had requested in advance. The spa was fantastic and the girls are very friendly and excellent at what they do and they had offers on regularly for massages. We also really enjoyed snorkelling as the house reef was incredible and there is such a wide range of colourful fish and coral! We brung our own snorkelling equipment which most people seemed to do but you can rent it from the dive centre if you need. The dive centre staff were really helpful with getting our 2 dives organised (we were very lucky to see such a variety of fish, sharks and a turtle) and the manta ray excursion which couldn’t have gone any better and I would highly recommend! We went with the all inclusive package and it was definitely the way to go, we ate at the buffet every night as the à la carte restaurant was only included in the all inclusive package for the water bungalows but we were more than happy with that as the buffet suited us better and had a very good range of foods, there was also a good variety of drinks to choose from on the all inclusive menu. Shaahu in the restaurant served us for the majority of our meals and he really went above and beyond, very quickly learning our drink preferences and having them waiting for us when we came back with our food. His service was exceptional throughout our stay and definitely helped make it more memorable! Adam cleaned our room for the duration of our stay and again was excellent and very helpful.

The shop with souvenirs had a few essentials such as sun cream and after sun but could maybe have done with a few other things such as deodorant etc for emergencies.

The wildlife … the size of the island ….. the service .. full dive centre that was great and not crazy prices
