Great Hotel in Ouarzazate, it is our stopping off point on the way to the desert. It is so good we stayed again on the way back to Marakesh. I would highly recomend a visit. If you get there early enough it is worth taking the tour of the Atlas Studios.
There is nothing here not to like. A unique hotel in this part of the world.

It is the real miracle. You can even not imagine living in the place where all THESE films were shot. The Atlas Studios is 5 mitres away. Every villa has a special renowned name. You stay in the heart of desert on the edge of wonderfully-equipped civilization and endless sand sea.

Super helpful and friendly staff who spoke several languages between them. French is the most widely spoken language for travellers. Small hotel perfect for our needs. Perfect to visit the Atlas Studios next door. Nice quiet pool area. Pool was super cold but I persevered with a few lengths :) Not a lot to see in the immediate area so you need a car (which we did) or use a taxi and/or guide. Roads are actually very good so our car hire was a great success. Everyone we met was very friendly and helpful, even in distant small towns/villages.

Hotel was clean
nice rooms
everywhere staff was building
it was noisy and it stank.
service on the pool was not possible.
it seems they specialist in having big groups coming at night, having a buffet and then leaving.
as individual guests weren’t felt welcome.
checking out nobody was there.
ordering a taxi was strange - they ask us to pay 100 dinar - at the airport the hotel called us through the driver and ask to pay 150 !? for a 9 minute drive .
