Beautiful vacation, value for money

So, I would like to sum up our impressions from our recent vacation in Kefalonia in a few sentences: - Regarding Summer Dream apartment, comfortable for family holiday, well equipped, beds OK, parking available, room was cleaned each day. From our point of view location is quite convenient, city Argostoli is at 14km far away, there are lot of very nice beaches (Lourdata, Makris, Kaminia..etc), restaurants and shops for home made honey (Michalatos honey) & olive oil (Liocharis) in close proximity. For those who love monasteries it is a must to visit Lady Fidousa and St. Gerasimos of Kefalonia. Also it is good to visit both caves Melissani and Drogati close to Sami city. - About owner Mr. Hristo, many thanks for their hospitality, very friendly and helpful, just we arrived he gave us a lot of hints and advice on what we should visit.

Nothing, just advice for improvement, some nets from spiders were visible in the bathroom, it would be great, if it could be cleaned.

Superb

I booked two seaview appartments for my family for seven days. We had a wonderful time. The appartments are spatial and with comfort, the seeview is brilliant. I had some discussion with my family about the distance of the beach. Do you walk or do you take the car? Going down by feet is about 15 minutes, walking back uphill about 25 minutes, for sure a good exercise. The boulevard itself is basic and very attractive, several restaurants, good coffee, it reminds me a bit of the beaches in Asia, very green, a bit messy, not so many tourists. Our landlord Christos is very friendly and helpful, thanks, we had a very good time.

Welcoming and relaxing time

The view from the top floor is stunning, Christos is very welcoming, friendly and helpful person, he also helped us to rent a car to explore the island. The room were we stayed was comfortable, clean and the sea view was absolutely amazing. The property is close to supermarkets, bakeries & restaurants. Good connection Wi-Fi and plenty parking spaces. We loved all the “wild” animals around the location :)

The property is quite far from the beach, so we recommend to rent a vehicle (car, probably, is the best option). Is not clear where the reception is, so we would suggest to add a sign on the door to help customers to find it.

Exceptional

Perfect locations, quite in the middle of the island, you can go south and north. The closest beach is 5 min driving. The host, Xristos is a wonderful person. He will tell you the best places, tavernas and beaches to go. I will come back for sure! P.S. :the best wifi I have ever used in Greece. But there is no need, the view is epic. You need a glass of wine, good mood and nice music!

Superb

Great host, amazing view, roomy place with all one might need. Lovely beach is down the hill, also some tavernas and bars. If you have a car, it's also a good location to see the island.

Highly recommend! Never experienced a hotel owner being so kind and helpful. He was a great guy made me and my friend feel so welcomed and helped us out a lot, you do need a car if you want to travel the island although there is a buss we caught serval time, but the owner was very kind and picked us up from the beach and gave us lift when we needed them, hotel was beautiful lovely sea view cleaner came everyday, had everything you need! Lovely restaurant two minute walk down the hill where you can watch the sunset! Very happy with my stay and definitely recommend if your wanting to travel to this island!

Very good

The friendliest host. Very friendly, welcoming and goes beyond to help. He helped us check out rental cars/quadbikes in the area. And would guide us to the best beaches around. We felt very well taken care of. Would happily go back.

Perfect!

It was a wonderful stay. The rooms were really big and had everything we needed. The host was also very nice and welcomed us with a drink of uzo. We will definitely come back!

It is not easy to get there without a car. Even the way to the beach is very exhausting by walking. Next time we will be renting a car and I can only suggest that to everyone.

Adequate accomodation near Pessada.

I booked Summer Dream for proximity to the ferry at Pessada. Close to the southern beaches of Lourdata, Kanali, Pessada, Trapezaki. Large combined living room and kitchen with large dining table. Adequately clean. Washing machine in room was very convenient. Christo was a gracious host and who served ouzo and cheese when we arrived. The beaches were disappointing save for one-Kanali. This beach is reachable by foot 700 steps from the road. Walking down is not bad, but up is a trudge. Be sure you have enough water. I thought it was worth the struggle to find an uncrowded beach with soft sand, and blue warm water. Trapezaki was muddy and full of seaweed.

The picture on booking.com showed a panoramic sea view from a balcony. We had a balcony, but it overlooked the parking lot. There was a sliver of sea view. The bed was very hard. Fortunately, the couch in the living room was much softer. Expensive for the quality. Furniture, especially the sofas are older and need replacing.

We lived in 2-room apartments for 4 people. Lovely apartment, clean, spacious, with a beautiful hall, a large balcony, entwined with greenery. Well equipped kitchen. 2 А/С for 2 rooms. The wi-fi worked well. Free parking. There are several shops and restaurants within walking distance. The caring and attentive owner gave a lot of good advice on what to visit on the island.

No shortcomings were found. There are 2 warnings. Good beaches are nearby, but it's difficult to walk to them, you need a car. The apartments are located in 2 buildings. Our app, larger size, located in the second. And so we didn't have a sea view - only the neighboring trees and the 1st building.

Fantastic place with fantastic host

Excellent place for your holiday. Big rooms with a great seaside view. One of a kind! Balconies with sea view everywhere and very nice surroundings as well. Clean and tidy place with all furnitures that you need. There is supermarket and tavern just 5 min away. Christos was fantastic host, so friendly and helpful. In general we had great experience and really nice holiday. Highly recommend this place!

Enjoyable stay

Spacious, distant sea view from balcony, walkable distance to supermarkets and various nice restaurants. Walked down to beach took about 30 minutes and a bit longer on the way back up due to hill but doable if your fit. Very fast Wifi. Christos was welcoming and friendly.

A few cobwebs here and there and floor not particularly clean.

Living the summer dream

We were totally blown with the view we had from the balcony. Its taking you away any time of the day, literally. Sunrise,sunset, and many shooting stars during night! Christos the host is there for you if you need anything, he is happy to help anytime but especially when you arrive and don't have a firm plan. The beach he told us about was our favorite after quite the exploration over the stay. Tell him what you like and he will gladly recommend.

The place is located in a nice position and the best part was the sea view. We would stay on the balcony in the mornings and evenings and enjoy the view. Christos is a great host and he can help you with everything. He is also very funny and charismatic! Hope to see you again, Christos! Cheers!

The hosts were kind, the location was great 👍 and the views unbeatable. People in the island are mostly kind and prices are not expensive. The host advised me about a good beach that was really secluded and provided me with accommodations I asked for. Christos is a good man and will certainly make your stay pleasant.

The actual Summer dream with the great view of the Mediteranian sea. Great location for exporing the island and near enough to the airport (taxi cca 20eur). The host is a local that gives exelent advice about what to see. 😉

You're welcomed by Christos with his homemade Chiburo. He is a very open-minded person and is always willing to help if you have some questions or problems. The room is very nice with a wonderful view. You have ariconition if you need it. Two beds, a shower a tv., Everything is working fine. The kitchen is sufficient to prepare food, we had some fried zucchini, pasta potatoes and fish. The is even a grill in the courtyard which you can use. The beach is 20 minutes by foot. Two supermarkets are less then 5 minutes away. Several good restaurants are also a 5 to 10 minutes walk away. I definitely recommend to get a scooter or a car to explore the island. There is so much to explore...

Exceptional

The house is in an amazing position, with a super nice view and a really friendly and helpfull owner, that offers you immediately an ouzo and drinks with you! Warm water, SUPER SOFT BEDS (important thing) and quick wifi. Super market, restaurants and beaches on the corner or down the road! Tip top!

There are no road signs about the house, so try to do it with google maps! 👌🏽
