Very peaceful place. We had the deluxe double (king bed) with a balcony, which was spacious and superb. Great staff, breakfast, and a nice cooling-off pool. 3 stars!
The ceiling fan in the room was too small and made a clicking noise. You cannot drink the water in this part of Colombia, so they should provide you with water to start, and filtered, drinkable water to refill your own water bottles.
This really is annoying, tiny bath toiletry bottles, what an environmental waste. They should have large bottles of body wash and shampoo in the bath. A shower at the pool would be nice.

The staff was extremely pleasant from the moment I arrived until my departure. The hotel’s central location makes it easy to walk to every part of the colonial city. Inside, it feels like a small oasis of peace, especially during the hottest hours of the day. The room was excellent, equipped with both A/C and a ceiling fan. Breakfast was simple but good — I especially loved the coffee and chocolate. And after a full day of touring, relaxing in the rooftop jacuzzi at night was a real treat

This was my third stay in 13 years and it continues to be my favorite hotel in Colombia. Not only is the charming traditional building beautifully restored and the (warm) pool a blessing in the sweltering heat of Mompós, but the rooms are equally beautiful. The bed is fantastic, the bathroom modern and there is a jacuzzi on the rooftop terrace that you can book for one hour a day.
All the staff are simply wonderful, many of whom have been around since before my first stay, which also says something about this place. Any wish or request is taken care of immediately. The hotel (just like the whole town) is very quiet, unless there happens to be a party.
The breakfast is very good quality.
Once you leave the hotel, you are in the heart of the historic center of town with nice restaurants, shops and cafés. The location is prime.
Hard to think of anything apart from having had to leave. I just have two suggestions: breakfast items could be more varied (different fruits, for example). And it would be nice to see the restaurant reopen.
