The location was perfect for our temporary stay, granting access to parts of Douala we needed to visit. The lounge area and dining space were perfect - I loved the paintings - and the staff downstairs very welcoming. Breakfast was enjoyable too, and the swimming pool a real bonus!
The room was a little small and decor rather dated, though I think this had to do with the Ibis aesthetic. One of the receptionists, Gloriet (?) was not friendly or particularly helpful. She upset my partner on the first day of her stay when enquiring about taxi
transportation. The lads at the desk and on security were wonderful.
