Noisey

Pool never got crowed. Excellent spot on the main strip.

Other in considerate guests that woke us up or stopped us from sleeping by knocking on each others doors and talking very loud after 12.30am. Even playing a game right below our balcony one night and twice we had to ask them to move and they were very rude when they did eventually move. There was no one on site to stop any night noise.

Very good

Close to everything. The fact I'd booked one bedroom and I'd been allocated two bedrooms, at no extra cost.

The pool being so close to the road. Also it was very noisy at times.

A great hotel if you’re on a budget in a fantastic location

Excellent location, staff were amazing especially the bar staff!

we have an ongoing issue where the property pre authorised our payment then cancelled the payment, and the funds are still on hold. The hotel say their bank have returned the funds to us but as yet we haven’t had the money back and have since had to pay again for the accommodation. To be fair to Maria at the hotel, she has been very helpful in trying to help us resolve this. My only other negatives were the poor quality air conditioning and the room wasn’t always cleaned to a very good standard (though not bad enough that we had to complain).

We would love to return!

The staff are all helpful and friendly. The pool bar is a massive bonus with excellent food and drinks all at very good prices. The pool is perfect with a nice vibe and the locations could not be better.

We had a two bedroom family apartment and the air con really only covered one bedroom.

The hotel is in a central location, close to a vast array of restaurants, shops and bars. The pool bar served fabulous food and drink - a large menu to choose from.

Would have preferred a larger pool area but you can't have everything.

I will be back!

Vanessa Hotel was an amazing way to start my travels. It was very close to the airport and easy to get too. Located in a cute, busy town it was easy to walk around. If you need something there are various stores around to go to. The street has a lot of food options too! The staff at Vanessa were lovely people and I was happy to have made friends there. The folks working at the bar were very welcoming and fun. Even though my stay was short, I will remember it with fond memories.

nearly everything was spot on just little things we didn’t have a toaster like it says on the booking

the staff was very helpful and the bar downstairs catered for all we needed I would just of preferred a room on the front my mum had a great room sun all day on veranda where mine was shady all day

Good Value for Money

Staff was great and really flexible. Hotel was good for the price bucket and the rooms are on the big side, righ in the middel of Kalamaki strip.

Excellent location with good pool and bar area. Very friendly reception staff who were happy to sort out minor queries etc. During the troubled Covid-19 summer of 2020 Vanessa was one of the only outfits taking bookings in the latter days of September and frankly beyond.

Not really anything the hotel could do about it, but there was a dog in the street behind which seem to bark constantly at quieter moments of the day. Reception were unable to loan me a high power rifle or any poised meats. 😜
