Staff were welcoming, food great (both breakfast and evening meal). Room was a good size and overall the hotel and room were clean and well looked after. Great views from the back of the hotel.
The hotel is on a busy road and whilst the superior rooms have a lovely view, we were overlooking the car park and Kwikfit.
We arrived on a Sunday and quiz night and bingo took over the dining areas. Great if you enjoy this, but not if you want to chat over dinner.
Shower had small mouldy areas which was a shame because overall the room and hotel were clean.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The cleaning staff did a brilliant job with our room.
They addressed concerns efficiently with a smile.
There are no electrical points next to the bed and it would have been nice to jave a light over the coffee/tea area.

Great location with beautiful decoration.
Bedroom very comfortable and equipped with everything you would ever need.
Terrace was a really nice place and really good to be able to bring own drinks and food to sit and relax outside with glasses etc supplied by the hotel.

The venue was close to where we needed to be - the on site parking was excellent. The room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast was excellent
With the room being so spacious, I was surprised to see that the bed was just a regular standard double - with so much room I would have thought that a King Sized bed would have been much better. The bathroom was also very outdated - a shower over a bath - no hand rail to help get in and out of it - a very "slippy" non slip mat didnt help! A shower curtain that was next to useless as well - very un-hygienic too.
