Good & varied choices for breakfast
Conveniently located for trains,buses,& town centre.
Cleanliness of premises.
The utmost care & extreme consideration shown to us when we were so late in arriving due to disruption & cancellation of our train connections.
The high calibre, friendly& obliging kind staff & clientele.
We thoroughly enjoyed our,all too brief,stay in Chinon@your hotel.
It was a most tranquil & pleasantly restorative experience for us & one we would,very much,like to repeat sometime in the future.
Thank you so much.
A retractable insect screen on the window would have been a useful enhancement.
Particularly @ night when the window had to be open.

An old traditional French town hotel
The room was very hot , due to the hot weather . There was a fan in the room which helped

Belle Epoque is always such good value for money. It is a very clean, no frills hotel. The family run staff are extremely friendly and the lady in charge speaks excellent English. It has very secure parking, and is a 20 minute stroll to all the restaurants. Located next to the railway station, ideal for train journeys to Tours. Breakfast is worth having and good value. It is a good stop over for journeys further south to the Dordogne

The staff was nice to help out with our luggage to top floor after a long journey due to train cancellation and heat wave. The staff also provided information about taxi and luggage transfer.
Breakfast was super small, super limited and very expensive per person. Breakfast for that price was not worth it. Due to heat wave, there was a fan provided, but we were in the top floor, which made it much more warmer. The toilet had no exhaust fan, plus the heat. The third bed was higher, than the first two beds....
