I was very happy with my first stay at EMI Seaside Hotel and enjoyed it so much that I decided to return for a second time. The hotel’s wonderful location directly on the beach remains a real highlight, and I still appreciate the friendly atmosphere and the convenience of having everything so close by.

Hospitality and relaxed atmosphere were great, and we got good advice on local restaurants. We are not experienced beach-goers so we do not have much to compare to, but beach was beautiful, and we spent a lot of time there. Beach is 100 meters from hotel, and they have private sun chairs and umbrellas for hotel residents free of charge. It's easy to buy drinks to beach from hotel bar. Rooms were clean, the ceiling was higher than usual which was nice and the bathroom was modern, probably updated not too long ago. It was nice to look at the sunrise or sunset from the balcony. 10/10.

What a pleasant surprise it was to find EMI Hotel! I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Ammoudara.
The hotel is beautifully located right on Ammoudara Beach, where guests can enjoy complimentary sun loungers and umbrellas. The sandy beach is lovely and easy to walk along, and it was wonderful being able to relax by the sea so easily.
From my very first contact with the hotel, Mr Giorgos Christodoulakis, the owner, was professional, helpful and prompt with his communication. He even arranged an excellent taxi driver, John, to collect me from the Heraklion Ferry Terminal and later take me to the Heraklion Bus Terminal for my trip to Chania. This level of care and assistance was very much appreciated.
I enjoyed my stay so much that I am actually returning at the end of the week for another four nights!
The staff were all friendly and welcoming, and I would especially like to mention Anastasia, who was incredibly helpful, friendly and a pleasure to chat with.
My room was spacious, spotless and comfortable, with a good-sized balcony and a lovely ocean view. The breakfast buffet, served from 8:00–10:00 am, had a great variety of choices. The pool area was also very inviting, with plenty of sun loungers.
The location is excellent, with lots of shops, restaurants and cafés along the main road, and a bus stop right outside the hotel. I was also impressed that the Wi-Fi connection was strong and reliable, even down on the beach!
EMI Hotel has everything I look for in a stay — a wonderful location, clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff and, most importantly, genuine Greek hospitality.
I’m already looking forward to coming back. Thank you to Giorgos and the wonderful team at EMI Hotel for making my stay so enjoyable. I would happily recommend this hotel and look forward to my next visit!
