El desayuno muy rico y las chicas que te atienden muy amables. La ubicación es buena y el servicio del funicular me parece perfecto que sea gratis.

No me agradó que al reservar mencionaba que cuenta con estacionamiento y después me cobraron por horas la estancia del auto. La cama en la que estuve rechinaba por cualquier movimiento, la verdad no dejaba dormir 😌

The parking was charged and closed after 9 and it was really hard to go to downtown at night since you don't have a taxi service.

The hotel is very clean, great AC and the view is phenomenal.

The view is amazing and the accessibility of the funicular was a big plus.

Water pressure was very lower while showering. Breakfast was also not that great. Didn’t like the Stairway to reach the hotel while trying to carry your luggage or leave.

Would definitely stay again!!

Has to be that view!! Clean, friendly staff and attentive owner on the premises. Breakfast in bed!!

No motorcycle parking on premises, hotel offers taxi rides to safe parking location. Need to carry luggage up and down steep steps but it’s worth it! can be noisy at times with people hiking up to monument, still amazing stay. No AC

It had really nice views of Guanajuato also Right next to el pipila also. their was a younger guy at the desk he was really helpful with us

breakfast wasn’t that great they didn’t have a designated area it was taken to your room. after 9 we were told the elevators that take you up from the historic center were shut down their was an occasion coming up the long stairs it was still working. it’s a lo walk through allies if you don’t take the elevator

We spent two nights at the Balcón del Cielo. The room was clean and comfortable, and looked exactly as advertised. The staff was friendly and helpful. The most remarkable thing about the hotel is in my opinion its unbeatable location. The hotel is on top of a hill, and we could enjoy wonderful views of the beautiful city of Guanajuato from our own balcony, particularly at night and at dawn. Moreover, the hotel provided us with free access cards to the cable car, which allowed us to move between the hotel and the city centre in just a few minutes and easily enjoy all the museums, historical sites, shops and restaurants the city has to offer. It was a really great stay.

The view and the beauty of this hotel is amazing!

The rooms are clean, spacious and absolutely beautiful!

it’s a little hard to find. there are no elevators from the top to haul your luggage down to your room.

Amazing view, attentive staff.

Balcon del Cielo is a little gem of a hotel. I love that it is located in the centre of Guanajuato but not directly in the centre. The funicular ride makes such a big difference as everything is accessible within 5 minutes. Breakfast was a lot - fruit, yogurt, granola, eggs, chilaquiles etc. The room was spotless and the towels smelled wonderful. Thanks to Valentin and the staff members.

The directions to the hotel. There are no street numbers etc. The easiest way to arrive by taxi is to go to the foot of the funicular, show the cashier your reservation and then approach it that way. I found the bed hard. When the balcony doors are open it is very noisy. Once closed it is fine.

overall our stay was absolutely amazing.

we loved the amazing panoramic view from our room. loved having breakfast in our room to make amazing view in the morning and having a drink at night to the picturesque scene in front of us.

We didn’t like that the funicular was available up to 9:45pm. when we were down down in the center we had to cut our nights short a couple times to make it on time because if we didn’t we had to walk, more like hike, up to get to the room or catch a cab to take us near the hotel in which we still had to walk and find our way to the hotel.

Just keep in mind that Guanajuato celebrates life (in a never ending street party) almost throughout the night. Every night!

You will have the magnificent view of Guanajuato all to yourself.

Just be cautious of the time table of the cable car (funicular). You will have to walk up or take a taxi if you miss the last one.

The views are epic! The location to the funicular is perfect. The room with hot tub is worth the extra money.

The distance from the parking lot to the hotel is far and you will need some help with luggage and to find the hotel.

It was an adventure worthwhile !

The view was beyond beautiful… the beds were super clean and the shower very spacious. Room was a decent size for its location and the customer service was amazing. I’m going back again

Perfect!

The location and service was great throughout our stay.

Perhaps include an A/C unit on the existing units. We got moved for one day to the new additions and the A/C there felt great.
