The service is wonderful, after a messy and stressful first morning, where I had to leave the room with all my clothes in a pile on the bed, I came back to all of them neatly folded.
I did not expect that. Cleaning staff is top notch (even compared with other good 4 star hotels).
The breakfast was good, even as a coffee snob it was passable coffee, the egg muffins were good, the bacon was crispy, offered backed goods were decent. All in all, standard but good.
As it was included in the room price, definitely worth it. Also the view off the roof terrace in the morning is a nice way to start the day.
The loading zone in front of the hotel often had available spots, though we had the advantage that a lot of the guests were part of a bus tour, so almost nobody had to load and unload a car.
The location is perfect. It's not directly in the center of the city, but it's close enough to walk, and it's just outside enough to have an easy time getting there by car.
The 4 person room does not have enough towel hangers.
Everyone has 1 shower towel, 1 hand towel, 1 bidet towel. So 12 towels for the room. (Also a floor towel, but that doesn't need to be hung)
There is a towel drying rack in the shower (which can hold 2 shower towels, but potentially gets water spray from the shower. And two towel hooks between the shower and the bathroom door..
That's it.
I hung my towels in the unused closet, and had to bring them to the bathroom every time. Two used the hooks, the third just stored theirs in the room or piled up on the counter.
Bidet towels were only used by one of the guests, who then stored it on the counter.
I would have loved to have 4 hooks for the bidet towels under the counter.
Also, we ran out of toilet paper once, since some were unfamiliar with how to use a bidet and thus ran through the toilet paper supply extremely quickly.
Assume tourists are having bad poops and supply 3-4 rolls, instead of 2 per day.
