Location and staff went out of their way to help. Very friendly and welcoming.
Had to balance the kettle on the bathroom sink, nowhere to plug kettle.

There is a lot to like about Lily Sands Inn.
It's budget accommodation in a great area.
The rooms are clean and comfortable and you can open the window for fresh air.
There is a small lift which is welcome when travelling with luggage.
This was our second visit and we will return again!
The reading lights could be a bit brighter.

It was a very nice and clean room with a really nice charm about it.
I think it is a really clean and peaceful area and really nice to stay if you want some peace and quiet and privacy in the city.
The location is really close to the city and I really liked staying here.
A lot of bigger hotels I feel can be really impersonal these days and it's nice something a little more charming and comfortable.
The things I did not like was no maps or guidebooks of the area in the room or the phone number in case of an emergency of the hotel so I think some information about shops and things to do in the area as well as maps is helpful.
And I hated the position of the shower, I think it was really uncomfortable showering like that, boxed in the corner but since it was a small room, you can make it work.
