Everything! The hotel was somehow even better than the pictures online — which is always a particularly pleasant surprise after a series of long flights. It was beautifully designed, intimate and effortlessly boutique, with direct access to the beach being a huge bonus. There’s something rather special about being able to go from a cosy little room straight onto the sand.
The staff were exceptional from start to finish — from the lovely lady at reception to Kan, and the waiters and chefs who made sure every meal was *perfecto*. There was a genuine warmth to the service that made the whole stay feel incredibly personal.
And a special mention to the owner, who was very sweet and hands-on. She went out of her way to make sure everything about our stay was perfect, checking in on us and making us feel genuinely looked after.
Given that it was an eco resort, you couldn't leave the AC on without a magnetic room key which can be a little annoying, especially after coming back from a hot, sweaty day out. But as problems go, that was a very minor one !

The location on the quiet part of Chewang Beach
The building work was noisy. Our room
was also above the reception desk and near the main road which was not ideal.

Great for families, staff were friendly and attentive. Rooms were well laid out well for their size clean and comfortable. We had a super king size bed on a mezzanine level with a small bedroom & single too. Food and drinks were good value & tasty at the hotel and there were nice restaurants to eat at nearby at other hotels along the beach for a change. Always sun loungers available and free filtered water.
