InterContinental Bora Bora Le Moana Resort by IHG

Absolutely stunning views from OWBs and had the best end of pontoon facing the lagoon with nearly total privacy. Extremely friendly and helpful staff all around the resort. Within walking distance of outside supermarket, bike/car rental and restaurants. Loved free use of paddle boards and kayaks and being able to snorkel under our OWB.

The rooms are slightly dated and could use a little spruce up but we didn’t mind them. The views outshined that.

The location of the hotel (over water villas) is excellent. The villas are of a good standard and have everything you would need. The breakfast has a great selection and offers a beautiful view.

The service at the bar was terrible in the evening, you could wait 30 minutes for your drinks to arrive, in particular on busy nights. It is a real shame as the staff are really nice

Me and my husband stayed two nights at Intercontinental during our honeymoon. We had two amazing days at the resort. The bungalow was even better than we expected, and we loved the interior (in the pictures it looks a bit dark, but it was very authentic and beautiful). The staff made sure we had a special time by offering complimentary champagne etc because we were on honeymoon.

Beautiful location, and the Bungalows on water are really nice. The Hotel Managers was very nice and trying to do her best, as well as the Lady in charge of the restaurants

Overall the services proposed are below standard versus the price paid for the rooms. Too many situation below grade for such place : Cocktails forgotten or almost served during the meal. Quality of meal decent, but serving stewards not at the right level. Minibar empty, and you have to request, difficult when two days before, the Minibar was offered at the Kia Sofitel in Moorea…. When you are told that raincoats are supposed to be available in your room, and eventually you are told to get them at the reception ==> At that price, they should come to your room immediately. So, many details that are NOT compatible with the level that this place should be.
