About this house rental
Nestled in Lake Wenatchee, this lovely house for $747 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Looking for a place to take your family to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of lovely “Lake Wenatchee” and its surrounding mountains, this is your “home away from home” to make those dreams come true. Your own private dock will be just the place to settle for a day of water activity and fun in the sun. Watching the sunset as it disappears behind the mountain peaks, after displaying a colorful infusion of light on the face of this pristine mountain lake, is a magnificent way to end a truly remarkable day. Whatever draws you to the water, rich days filled with jumping and splashing off the dock, or lazy days laced with a cold drink and your feet dangling in the water, this cabin will entertain and enrich each day spent at “All About the Lake.” Located along the North Shore of the lake this is a 2-story cabin with a touch of nostalgia from days gone by to provide a “true eclectic cabin” experience that everyone will enjoy. Main floor offers dining for 6 at the table and 2 at the breakfast bar. Surrounded by plenty of windows, the lake is part of the “party” no matter where you look. Simple and functional galley style kitchen and 3/4 bath on the main floor, with shower, along with living room and wood stove for the cooler times of year when a fire is just what the doctor ordered. There is also one main floor bedroom which hosts a king bed. First floor, "beach level", is where you will find an additional 3 bedrooms, 1 with king, 1 with queen and 1 with a double. Additional 2 may sleep on the couch which lays out to a king sized bed. Large living space, kitchenette, and another wood fireplace. There is a full bath on the ground floor as well. Step outside to relax and soak in your private hot tub while gazing at the views of the lake. When you find yourself looking for a little 'friendly competition' you can take up a game of shuffleboard too. Fees may vary based on the following: $25 per additional guest per night after base rate has been met. • $25 per dog per night • $12.18 per night Safely/Damage Insurance Coverage• Travel Insurance: Opt In/Out• Housekeeping fee• 5% booking fee • State/local lodging taxes. • Minimum stay requirements may vary. Spring/Summer/Fall Guests: There is room for parking of 4 cars, and/or 3 cars and 1 truck and boat trailer. Winter guests please see notes below: Winter Guests: Please be prepared along with your guests who are driving separate for this driveway during winter months as there is a steep/slope grade and when ice/snow are on the ground a 4WD/AWD vehicle with traction tires are necessary AND carrying chains is recommended. No exceptions. While we do our best to keep this driveway plowed and sanded, winter conditions can change rapidly and make both access to and from this driveway challenging and we cannot guarantee its condition upon your arrival at any time. We are subject to the subcontractor and the Chelan County plows who service this driveway and our county roads so please pack your patience along with following the recommendations below if you choose to book. Beautiful location, right on the lake. Easy access to Leavenworth and plenty of space inside the cabin for large groups. We had seven in our party but could have fit a couple more. They also have a cabinet of board games and puzzles, which were great when we got snowed in one day. I will say there are some spots where I'm guessing the insulation is uneven since there are cold spots in the house, and plan for the steep driveway during winter. Also could have used more toilet paper for the number of guests we had, but the town wasn't far so we were able to buy. The manager was very responsive and helpful too. I would stay again!

It was a nice, spacious home right on the lake. We all had a nice time. The only concerns were the nails sticking up from the dock. It was also unfortunate that there were wildfires during our stay, but that’s just part of the territory.

Comfortable home with stunning location
This home is truly amazing. Since it is at the end of the lake, there were very few other people around, and the view of snowscape mountains was remarkable. Unfortunately the lake was too cold for swimming when we were there in June, but my kids had fun paddling around the shore and my elderly parents spent the whole time on the deck watching the view. My mom keeps asking when we can go back. Perfect for our family.

Check-in was supposed to have add'l info like Wi-Fi password on the day of rental but had not arrived by 9:00am so I called but didn't get a call back until almost noon when I was already in transit. They texted the password to me, but it never appeared on the check-in email. The hollow doors on two of the downstairs bedrooms had delaminated, causing them to "bang" when using, so we made repairs to both. Lighting in the kitchen was poor, and we found a ladder to replace two burned out bulbs. Those issues aside, we had a wonderful stay and have no qualms recommending this property. Serene and relaxing.

We had a great time here over the weekend with friends. This was a nice place to get away from the city and relax and BBQ outdoors. There were a lot of fees associated with the rental, as this is now the norm, and will book direct next time.

Amazing location and views all the necessities and very communicable host. Be advised in winter to bring sand or kitty litter to get out of the driveway, even with 4WD.

Blissful Times
We had a fabulous time relaxing by the fire, kayaking from the dock with an insane mountain view and making group meals together. The house was well stocked and had everything we needed! We’d love to come back in the Summer :)

The place was very quiet, we have seen only rare boats and a couple neighbors. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The lake was ok to jump into, but not warm enough to swim for more than a minute. Hot tub, shuffleboard table and puddle boat were a very nice addition to our vacation.
