Excellent pool. Large room and balcony. Housekeeping was very good. Illy coffee in the restaurant excellent. Iced coffee in the Beach Club horrible. Orange juice in the beach club very thin. Very large gym with a lot of strength machines though no rowing machines or bikes. One very good restaurant nearby -'Upstairs' - and another, quite reasonable one on the floor below it.
The hotel restaurant was really quite poor. Staff were all very young and more interested in being on their phones than in serving their customers. Breakfast offer was unclear - there seemed to be two choices of breakfast plate - one 'full English' and one 'De Luxe' or similar, which was not de luxe. You got one egg, fried, some raw tomato and cucumber, cheese and different shapes of salami type meat. I asked if there was a vegetarian option and was told no. When I broke out on my third morning and asked if I could order a mushroom omelette, from what appeared to be the lunch menu, yes that was fine. However the omelette was awful - horribly overcooked, greasy and rubbery. At no point were we offered yoghurt or fresh fruit (apart from a tiny dish of chopped apple on the 'de luxe' breakfast plate). So disappointing. Especially after wakeful nights listening to the peculiarly loud intermittent sounds of the air conditioner.

Windows were left carelessly dusty with few drops of rain , the armchairs were quiet old and kind of dirty .
