The room was a good size, and location suited us as not too far from bus station, as we arrived late and left early
The bed was very hard which may suit some, also lacked a kettle in the room

This hotel is great if you need a place near Autogara Militari bus station which is a common arrival point in Bucharest. The hotel is less than 10 minutes walk from the bus station. Then going into the centre is easy with Pacii metro within minutes walk. The breakfast was also very good with lots of options. Air conditioning worked well, nice hot water in the shower too.
Everything was very good...perhaps this hotel is a little far from the centre but it really doesn't matter if you can take the metro around. Good place to stay for a short time in Bucharest, pretty good value.

lovely receptionist, good aircon, shaded drinks terrace outside, near major bus terminus, great restaurant (Vulturus) across the road
no lift, bar not open when we wanted (though near shops and restaurants), walkable from major bus station on easy route but maybe a bit much for some on very hot days

It was OK.
We were cheated with the price. The receptionist said we paid everything according to their website. But we had made the reservation through Booking.com and not their website. Booking.com had showed a different price. She said that is something we needed to discuss with Booking.com. Not her problem, so to say.
The difference was that Tourist tax 10 RON per person per night, i.e. 30 RON, was NOT included in the price we had been told on the Booking Website. So, we paid it on top of what we had prepared. BUT Booking said it WAS included.
So, I definitely don't recommend this place. I sent them 2 messages with questions that were important for me. But they never answered any of my messages.
When I inquired as to the difference of the price (due to Tourist Tax paid extra and different prices for parking), they simply told me to complain to Booking for the price difference, because "it's not their problem, but Booking's problem." At the end it's our problem, because we were cheated on.
