Todo muy bien

La habitación estuvo disponible cuando llegamos, siempre estuvo muy limpio. La alberca está climatizada lo cual es muy bueno para los niños.

Great! I’d recommend for family friendly, and the cost conscious

Great location! Stunning views! As others have commented, it’s a tad rough around the edges, but it suited us just fine. Oh, and the beds we’re comfortable, contrary to what others have reported. The beach and waves were perfect for our two 12 year olds and our 9 year old. The pool was great. The staff was excellent and very helpful and kind. The areas of Mazatlan that we moved around in, Gold Coast and Centro were very safe feeling. I’d recommend Costa de Oro to anyone looking for great value and who doesn’t need the most upscale, chic, boutique hotel. It was great for our family. And the price was hard to beat for what we got.

It was rough around the edges, as others have said. So, the furniture was a bit worn. Everything was a little worn and maybe out dated. But we didn’t mind at all, and nothing about it being “worn” affected us negatively in any big way.

Overpriced and I will never stayed here again!!!

I didn’t feel safe. Our room was connected to someone else’s room by a “locked door.” I could hear them literally breath and I was afraid that they could open the door. I had to put the table and chair against the connecting door to feel a bit safer. Also, we were not able to sleep at all. Every day, there was a type of construction going on, it was very exhausting. The hotel & room were old, deteriorated and dirty. Sewer smell came from the shower, the elevator was very tiny, dirty and smelly and sometimes didn’t work, etc…

Spoiled fish and mold in the room

Room had mold. The floor was wet all the time they did gave us an upgraded in the room since I mentioned my kids have asthma. Later we went to the buffet which by the way is overpriced few items in the buffet table and staff was kind rude. My kids wanted to try fish and chips but fish was spoiled my daughter had a bite of it and was sick all nite. We did told the captain and the manager and they gave us a lame excuse of how the fish was cook. They weren’t interested in give us back a refund for the buffet. At the end the location is good but too overpriced for what the hotel is. Elevator was broken.

It was a nice place to stay quiet and clean

Terrible check in it was 5 pm and waiting for room to be cleaned I was very sick from heat . They did have life guard check my blood pressure well security did up front help sucked 😕

Room was small and the beds uncomfortable. The shower did not have hot water or a very good water flow.

Good Overall

location is great. there are restaurants, clubs, pharmacies within walking distance. across the street their are ATM banks and money conversion. we stayed at a suit and all suits have a view of the pool and beach with was so beautiful. Their is a spa within the location and they are very friendly and give good massages.

All the staff was nice except for one girl, she was making a face because I asked for a extra towel when I didn’t know towels were limited. she could have communicated better and without the attitude.

I like the room was very nice clean and the location of the hotel was excellent. Breakfast was delicious generous portions.

I didn’t like the attitude waiters, waitresses, bar tenders have towards me and my family the minute they saw that our bracelet was all included they will take very long to take our order or bring our order out. They will also tell us some things were not available because of the day of the week which to me it doesn’t make senses for example (we wanted ceviche for snack on Wednesday and we couldn’t get it until Thursday but if we buy it we can get it ) Also the pool looks very old and not updated and the hot tub was never hot. They also have very loud music all day at the pool sometimes it was impossible to relax.

Enjoyed my time at the resort

Location was excellent and the staff very professional. Smaller hotel with a personal feel.

Rooms were dated and undersized. Too many pigeons in the area. The menu could use some work!

Beds were comfortable and a good size. Restaurant in great location overlooking beach and food was good.

Lighting in living room was poor as was the comfort of the two couch beds in that room. Refrigerator was not anchored and it slid out of its place each time you opened it. Very few TV options in English.

Staff was great. Food was okay, drinks were fine. Pool was heated so that was good. Location weas great.

Rooms were in poor condition, would not give them anything more than a 2 for a rateing, old furniture like many years old, A refrigerator that was rusty, the door wouldn' shut. Kitchen had ants on the cuboard and floor. Faucets leaked. Beds were awful, had neck and back aches for the whole 3 weeks. It wasn't worth what it cost to stay there. never again!!!

Exceptional

We got an upgrade for a room with a balcony and it was entirely worth it. Huge suite, splendid view of the garden and the sea. The hotel is distinctive and beautiful architecturally, unlike most of the new anonymous highrises. It also has a small hotel feel and a super friendly staff. We were literally two minutes from our room to the very nice beach bar, huge pool, and the uncrowded beach itself. Very convenient to restaurants and shopping. Couldn't have been happier any place else in Mazatlan.

The food at the hotel restaurant was a bit disappointing, but there are plenty of good ones nearby, especially Mary's and FISH right across the street.
