Disappointing

It is a nice spot on the road to Rovaniemi and also the free sauna was a great treat

The dishes were dirty, had finger prints, hair and grease on them. The pictures were misleading! The free sauna was a great treat, however the shower only had boiling hot water, and there was no option to decrease the water temperature (at least it did not work) Wi-fi was not really working. The logs were unfortunately too long for the stove (most of them) The chairs are really wobbly / unstable The shower doesn't drain properly and it would be great to have curtains upstairs as well

Very good

Our cabin was nice and well equipped, with a fridge, oven, kettle etc. I liked that the cabins were a bit scattered, not all in a row. Right at the riverside. Good lingonberry cheesecake in the cafe.

A reading lamp at the beds would have been nice. There was one extra lamp but it didn't work and no spare bulb of that size.

The location on the river was great. Nice cosy place. Great hot water and good pressure shower.

Needs some attention to some minor maintenance issues. Only wifi is at the cafe. The kitchen needs some extra utensils etc. No toaster in the room. The window upstairs couldn't be closed off with a blind (had none).

Lovely, cosy and clean lodge in an amazing location. Good communication with clear instructions of check in details. We'll definitely book again if in the area.

Cozy cottages in a quiet area in the middle of nowhere, which means for activities you have to drive minimum 30 minutes.

Peurasuvanto is located directly at a river. The free usage of the traditional kota shelter and the sauna was really nice. It is also a good spot for seeing the Northern lights.

Unfortuently the Wifi wasn‘t working properly - some places in the cottage there was no connection possible, while at some it was weak. Activities are a bit far away.

Not very clean

Very helpful and friendly staff Easy check in Good location, good for seeing polar lights

Unclean and the accomodation was kind of humid so it was not really comfortable. We found left over food in the oven from previous visitors and I am confident to say that the apartment was cleaner when we left than it was before we arrived. I also have to say that it was not good value for money, we had significantly better apartments on our trip through Lapland where we paid less per night.

- Impossible to cook, room is small and the fire alarm start to ring loudly with a little cooking smoke - No shower in the bathroom - no salt or sugar in the kitchen

the localisation is very nice, the man who works in "cafe" is helpful. after issue with shower, the owner offered us to move to the Hotel - it was very good solution. It should happen on the first evening

we had the problem with shower in our place - it did not work when we arrived. It should be checked before our arrival. We arrive on the late evening and use the shower in different building, during winter it's not very comfortable. On the next morining the owner offered us to move to the Hotel - it was very good solution. It should happen on the first evening. the house we rented, was not so clean - it should be improvedm and not so comfortable. The pictures (on booking) were different (better) than reality. .....

Cheated at New Year's Eve

Beautiful remote location next to the river, ideal for aurora watching and reindeer spotting

We had booked and paid for superior cabin for four for the New Year's Eve. There is a self check-in, but on the day of our arrival we still didn't have any information about how to get in, the messages went unanswered. At the check-in time we finally reached them by phone, and we were informed that a pipe had frozen in our cabin and we would be getting a replacement in similar size and an extra sauna on top of just shower. When we arrived however, the new cabin was way way smaller, and the sauna and shower were actually outside of the living premises, we would have to go outside in freezing temperatures. To our complaints the Accomodation started pretending our booking had actually been a cabin for 2 with a toilet only and that they actually upgraded us (although we had spoken on the phone previously about our superior cabin with shower)! Overall, the cabin we got was OK, just not for the size of our group, and the communication with the staff was beyond pathetic.
