Amazing stay and I'd highly recommend to everyone.

The whole Verandah House experience was first class. Our hosts were wonderful and very attentive. The suite was beautifully decorated and a great size. The views are spectacular, and the breakfasts were great.

Jude and Laurie were great hosts and very obliging. We'll be back for another stay in the future.

Great atmosphere and people. The accommodation is high quality with great attention to detail and well decorated. Breakfast was good, with great variety and cooked to order.

Water pressure in the shower could be better and the fire places need to be better ventilated. Storage for your own toiletries in the bathrooms was limited.

Verandah House is a hidden gem. The rooms are gorgeous, and the attention to detail on the small things was appreciated.

The property views are magnificent. It’s a really stunning location. The property is well kept and the layout is perfect.

The whole she bang, it’s was fantastic, very welcoming and the rooms have a homely feel, the hot tub was simply the best overlooking the Gold Coast, perfect spot.

The design and styling was fantastic, cosy and luxe. It has wow factor and very special. The cedar hot tub and view from it was outstanding. The pool was gorgeous. very picturesque and a real treat.

One small detail is the bath suite sits above the breakfast kitchen.

Luxury stay and overall experience was exceptional.

Beautiful location with breathtaking views and the hosts were lovely and accomodating. The room/facilities were immaculate for the perfect escape to the country. Complimentary minibar/amenities in the room and breakfast included heightened the experience and made our stay very comfortable.

The personal touches of real hospitality from arrival to departure. Judy and Lawrence are the prefect genuine hosts. We felt like we were staying with old friends. The property is immaculate and sadly we couldn't stay longer. Once the word gets out is is going to be very hard to book here so get in quick :)

The penultimate shabin experience. A day of bleak weather, cold, low cloud, raining, when the log fire and lazy bath made for a perfect stay. Judy & Laurie have created a unique space of pleasure and joy, that works in any weather. The views would be sensational on a fine day.

5 Star Gorgeous Haven on Mountain Tamborine

it’s absolutely stunning views and the perfect little haven that it is, is perfect for unwinding. There’s every facility on the premises to help you unwind - pool, spa bath, fire pit, beyond stunning views that will ebb away the stresses of life. And a gorgeous little area called The Peninsula, which overlooks the mountains and has views of Surfers on a clear day, was my ultimate favorite. My husband and I spent hours there absorbing the views, and we also took advantage of the stunning views as a backdrop to renew our wedding vows! Great wedding venue! The hosts and owners of the property, Laurie and Judy are warm hospitable folk who stop at nothing to accommodate requests (our vow renewal in this case 😉) Very highly recommended - we cannot wait to go back!

Everything about our stay at Verandah House Country Estate was perfect. The property itself was brand new and beautiful renovated. The rooms were beautifully styled and designed, akin to something out of Country Style magazine. The amenities on the property included an outdoor hot tub (with an amazing view), sauna, pool and copious amounts of space for picnics. The view overlooking Lamington National Park was spectacular. We enjoyed a couple of nights around the outdoor fire pit, toasting marshmallows, enjoying the view and having a glass of wine. The breakfast was one of the best meals I had ever had with plenty of options for everyone. And lastly (not in the least), the owners, Judy and Lawrence were the most lovely and inviting hosts we've ever met. We felt truly privileged to be on such an amazing property. 10/10 would return again, and soon!

Hinterland tranquility in a charming estate

There wasn’t a single thing we could fault. The hosts are exceptional and have mastered the art of tending to guests needs and giving guests space to feel as though you’re alone on their beautiful property. The facilities were great, and we made good use of them! The breakfast spread was exceptional and the view was magnificent! We left feeling totally relaxed and will defiantly be back soon. We also booked massages through the hosts and they were great too! It’s the most charming, idyllic and relaxing stay!

Retreat, reinvigorate, relax - love to be felt and had.

what’s not to love, sprawling estate perched to see mountain after mountain to retreat to an inspired interior that make even the most unromantic (me) romantic. unbelievable hosts who are put simply good eggs - no pun intended Lawrence (who also does good eggs and bacon for breakfast). Best massage and cedar hot tub makes all tension soothed away. Overall a lovely healing environment with wonderful energy and the best hosts. would return in a heartbeat.

Everything! my partner and I stayed here for the weekend and we were sad to go! from the outdoor (and indoor one in your room) fire place, the outdoor spa overlooking the mountains, or just the beautiful views in general - our stay was perfect. Topped with the most generous hosts Judy and Lawrence making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. What a stay!! we definitely will be back.

Gorgeous property perfect for a weekend getaway with easy access from Brisbane and the Gold Coast

Verandah House Country Estate is absolutely idyllic with a completely refurbished property you are surrounded by the best views in a completely cozy chic atmosphere. The owners are as nice as can be and made us feel welcome from the moment we drove through the gates. From the great breakfast buffet in the morning to the fire and marshmallows at night, you’re in a cozy mountain haven the whole time. I couldnt recommend it more for a group of friends looking to get away, an extended family wanting to spend some quality time as a group or a couple looking for a quiet tranquil weekend. And its all within a quick drive to the local vineyards and national park walks.
