Our favourite stay in Norway

This was our favourite stay in Norway. The two-bedroom unit was clean and modern. We had a great verandah with fantastic views of the Fjord. The parking was right near the unit and easy to reverse into. We booked for 3 nights but wished we could have stayed for longer. Lots of things to do in this area.

Very relaxing location and beautiful views. Spotless cabin with everything you need.

I stayed in a self contained cabin here and loved it! The cabin had everything I needed for a wonderful stay. I was able to cook and wash clothes. The view from my front deck were stunning. The cabin was super clean and modern and extremely quiet, despite the caravan park being full. I loved the location - right on the water. It was about 1.5km from the village, but it was an easy walk and it was away from the many cruise ships and daily tourists. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. They offered to pick me up from the ferry upon my arrival. I could have stayed here for a week!

The views are amazing! Great location and fit for our family of 4 nicely. There are so many great things to do in the area. The staff are so nice, and accommodating! I definitely recommend it!

Superb

The cabin is so cute and the kitchen is nice and clean. We arrived later than 8 at night and the staff is very friendly in terms of helping us getting the key. The view is absolutely amazing. I would really love to come to Norway and stay here again.

Breathtaking!

I love out stay at Geiranger cabin! It’s truly breathtaking to wake up in front of the fiorde, only a few steps away from the water. The staff is amazing and very helpful. The cabin was also super clean.

I read that we could use kayaks, but that was not available, the only option was to rent a boat. I also would suggest them to leave important cooking ingredients in the cabin such as salt, olive oil and coffee.

We occuped the villa number 1 ( premium), spacious, confortable, very clean, with all the equipment we could need, the decoration is also very nice. The localisation is perfect. I recommended without hesitation. The only negative point is the bad WiFi connection.

Absolute must stay at Geiranger just for the view!

Accessibility is a slight issue if you are not having your own car. The place is about 2km from the town centre where all ferries stop and all super markets / souvenir shops are located. So you would have to walk each time there. Also the slope leading to the hotel is quite steep - isn't easy even without luggage 🥵

Great cabin at the edge of the fjord, value for money

A neat and cosy cabin at a great location! The cabin was exceptionally clean and well furnished. We stayed three nights and it was a great decision as we could relax in the cabin when the weather was bad and go around when the weather was good. We also rented a motorboat (along with another couple) which was also a great experience. It was our first time on such a small boat and it was a bit scary when other larger boats created waves which we have to deal with but the views of the falls and the fjord made up for it! Geiranger town center (shops/supermarket) is 2+kms, which is not easy to walk as you have to walk on the road.

The property is listed at a very reasonable price and is absolutely worth it. the view and accessibility to nearby key locations is also amazing. Its 10/10 considering all aspects. one suggestion would be if they could start breakfast at additional cost will be a great add on.

Loved the experience of staying just next to the fjord and enjoying the excellent view!

Awesome view of the fjord, good size cabin for two. Comfortable bed and space are kept warm with heaters

Bathroom gets wet after bathing. No bathroom mat. Toiletries ie shower gel and shampoo not provided.

Great choice to experience perhaps the most beautiful fjord in Norway.

Excellent location and view. The cabin is clean and has everything you need. Excellent for 2 persons.

Maybe a little to pricey, but it's Norway. Actually the price is good comparing to other accommodation in the region.

Superb

We had the cabins with the view on the fjord. Just amazing. The cabin is globally is very nice and comfortable. Perfectly equiped to cook (there are not a lot of options end of september for a coffee or dinner) Staff was very nice and in this hotel you can rent small motorboats to visit the fjord. One of our best experience in Norway.

The family cabin only has one bedroom so it was a bit small for 3 friends.

Excellent location

Perfect location outside the touristic village of Geiranger with the Fjord literally in front of the cabin. Nice setting on a campground, which was quiet at the time of visiting. The cabin itsself is simple but clean with a nice terrace.

Living room and kitchen are not very cosy, as it is pretty small and the couch is amost in the kitchen. However, one doesn't visit to watch television indoor so this was only a minor point.

Wonderful, highly recommend

Very good value for money. We booked the one cottage apartment and the view was awesome, I dare say the best out of Geiranger (even better than the hotels around there). It was super comfortable, especially since the bedroom was completely separate from the kitchen and living area. It included everything we needed. They were also very responsive and helpful when I asked to do a late check in. 10/10 definitely recommend this.

Cannot think of anything in particular. Perhaps just that it is not centrally located but that is the beauty of it!
