Handy location to an event we were attending. Good place for family on a budget

Friendly on site host. Provided extra blankets on request. Some bathroom heating would be nice along with an extraction fan. Great views of the lake from room.

The view and that’s about it

The owner!! very very aggressive. I made a mistake and booked for one less family member and I was happy to pay the extra. However he also charged extra because I didn’t specify the age of my child. We booked 3 studio rooms and when we entered the rooms each room had the doors open to a second room. When the owner realised he left the doors to the second room door open he came inside our rooms and demand we pay more or lock the doors. Bit surprising because we thought that was part of the deal. We weren’t interested in paying more so we just locked the doors.

Really comfortable accommodation and quite spacious.

Such a lovely accomodation, the view is beautiful and we enjoyed waking up to the beautiful sunset every morning. Our room was nice and clean, glad we had a heat pump to keep us warm.

Overall, a good stay. We would certainly stay here again when we come to Rotorua.

Great very nice !

Really enjoyed our night here, we booked this motel as we were attending a 80th & this property was great it exceeded our expectations. For a older style motel it was very tidy & clean, spacious better then a lot of places we have stayed that are new ! would stay again & worth the price :)

We could hear the people next door snoring all night so may be thin walls? but my partner & i giggled haha! Also the mirror was hard to use in the bathroom as it was on the side of the wall from vanity other then that we were very pleased. Thank you

Quiet place with great terrace close to the lake

Very quiet and close to the lake. The terrace of appartement 1 is perfectly located with a great lake view.

Parts of the equipment is a bit out of date and could be renewed.

Lovely location by the lake and a river walk. Comfortable seating.

A large deposit taken on the assumption that we would damage the property. It took 4 days to receive the refund.

We enjoyed our stay so much, we will stay there again when we're in the area again. Thank you.

We enjoyed the location opposite the lake; the size of the room was excellent; kitchen facilities were excellent; room rate was very good; friendly and welcoming management.

Happy with the motel as is. The owner did say he had recently bought the property and was in the process of renovating.

We would not stay there again

The room and its view was just ok. The room was very clean

The room was very dated and the customer service was virtually non existent considering the price paid for the room. Key under the mat, check in time was delayed and there was no wifi code left for us.
