Clean Hotel, descent breakfast.

The room was not cleaned after the first day, reported to the reception that I needed water and coffee/tea etc waited 5 hours to sent to my room. poor srevice for a 5-star hotel.

Not recommended at all

Room size

-Location was bad.. -I went to the gym 3 times , every time the gym was dull and the yellow lights were horrible. They should replace them with white lights immediately. -Breakfast was disaster, old bread not fresh at all. Old vegetables, no variety at all.. -On my 4th day I saw different breakfast variety , I noticed all the staff were there including seniors , there must be a VIP visitor coming, otherwise the food was very bad. -the hotel deserve 3 stars only and I’m being generous.

Great hotel, food, staff and location.

Very good breakfast and room. Good size, cleanness, and the great response of the staff. The price for the food was very reasonable. The location is good as well. A few shopping centers and restaurants nearby.

They overcharged for some towels and sheets that were too dirty when my daughter felt sick. 90 USD to clean two towels and one bed cover? The price for the airport transfer is also a little bit higher than with other companies.

Clean rooms and super friendly and helpful staff. Shahin at the desk was always so helpful. Bell team saved us many time from taxi drivers to not over paying. A lady in the restaurant with a beautiful smiles greeted us every morning. Definitely she made our days with her smiles. In total, we had a great stay at double tree hilton avcilar 😊

Disappointing

The rooms deserve special mention for their cleanliness and tidiness. The overall ambiance was quite pleasant. The hotel's restaurant offered delicious and diverse food options that were enjoyable. Live music was available in the evenings, adding to the atmosphere and entertainment.

Language proficiency among the hotel staff needs significant improvement. Most of them had difficulty understanding English, with only a few exceptions at the reception desk. The restaurant service was subpar. Orders had to be repeated multiple times, and there was a high likelihood that they would be forgotten. Items like coffee or water were often brought after finishing the meal. Additionally, waiters might return 10 minutes after taking the order to confirm it again. Surprisingly, there seemed to be more staff than guests at the hotel. During check-in, I requested to move my booking forward by one day. However, the receptionist told me to handle it myself through a call center, as I hadn't booked directly with the hotel, which was quite unhelpful. The hotel's location left much to be desired. Situated by a highway, the surrounding area seemed unsafe, especially at night. Traveling to the airport or city center by taxi took anywhere from 40 minutes to 2 hours, depending on traffic. The taxi service arranged by the reception was highly disappointing. One driver behaved inappropriately by watching TV loudly, smoking, ignoring comments, and attempting to overcharge. Another drove a car in such poor condition that cold air blew in from under the rear seat. It was surprising that a reputable hotel would arrange such substandard transportation for its guests. While the hotel's infrastructure was up to Hilton's standards, some aspects were not well-maintained. For example, the showers in the rooms leaked in unintended areas. The once-famous Hilton down pillows were in dire need of replacement, as they now felt more like cotton wool than soft fluff. The Wi-Fi connection was extremely poor, rendering it practically unusable. The mobile reception on upper floors was also weak, forcing me to use my phone's internet near the window. Though there was Wi-Fi in common areas, it barely functioned in my room

Big thanks to the reception team who was super responsive. Nice view from the room thanks to the big windows. Located about 1hr from Istanbul airport.
