I have stayed at Hever many times and have always enjoyed my stays there. My favourite thing to do is walk around the grounds after hours. The gardens are beautiful and peaceful and it is nice immersing yourself in nature and watching the wildlife around you.
The staff are always friendly and helpful (To name a few - Tegan, Deepak, Darren, Emily and others I have met along the way).
The rooms are always to high standard and I love that you get free drinks and biscuits in the rooms.
The breakfasts are always very tasty, set in a lovely dining room. There is also a bar now which is very stylish.
The staff in the shops in the grounds are lovely and as I'm a regular now, I always like to go and feed the ducks and the lady (Kirsty) who serves me duck food from the information booth is always a joy to talk to.
The castle has always been a highlight and the staff are very knowledgeable with their historical facts.
I love seeing the gardens early in the morning and in the evening as the sun is setting. The castle is also stunning when it's lit up in the dark.
There is a lounge to sit and relax in with a fireplace which creates a cosy feel and also the courtyard is lovely to sit in, especially on summer nights.
The rooms are spacious and each room is different and quirky.
Another enjoyable stay. Hever is an enchanting and magical place to stay. Definetely a place fit for a queen. You will not be disappointed.
