If you need to stay around Stavanger, it’s okay place

Staff was very friendly, the overall stay was okay.

The Wi-Fi was not working most of the time or working poorly.

Nice place but dont stay if you need wifi

Nice place with very pleasant and helpful staff and the room was clean. Was provided an upgraded room with shower and sink which was nice.

WiFi was intermittent and even when available was extremely slow. Was told by the staff that the property has been aware of this problem (see other ratings with this complaint) and has been working on this issue for months. If a property lists wifi as a selling point then the property needs to supply the wifi or else be forthright in stating the lack of availability and that when available it is in the 4 - 6 MB range. The problem with wifi took this rating of this property from very good to marginal.

Friendly staff, quiet place to stay, traveling to city center requires walking uphill/ downhill.

Friendly staff, nice and clean breakfast room. Very good breakfast.

A Small kitchen, few toilets, basement is not clean and not fresh smell. Hostel location information is not accurately described. It is missed specified the steepness of street from city center to the hostel. It is not easy to walk from the city center with a lugged up hill in several blocks.

Excellent place to stay cheap for a few nights!

Great beds and location - close to the centre, bus station and fiskepiren! Cozy room with a comfortable heating and windows.

Stavanger B&B was is close to the city center. cosy place. Free coffee & tee. staff gave some recommendations when asked. Single room rather small but it is enough. equipped with a mini fridge, own shower & sink and a TV.

When you shower, the room is very humid. Even when using ventilation & open window for some time. not many sockets available in the room.

Good option for budget travellers

Ok value option for a stay in Stavanger. Fairly good location near the train station, bus station, harbour and the city centre. The female staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was not included but it is good value at about 8 euro, considering that there are few other breakfast options in Stavanger. Breakfast is a buffet with a good selection of food and drinks. Tea and coffee are available free until 8:00 pm. There was a fridge in my room, which was handy. 2-3 nights is plenty for a stay in Stavanger.

The lock on my bedroom door was faulty and it was really hard to actually lock the door. That needs attention. The TV never worked while I was there either. Too few loos on my floor and I sometimes had to wait to use one. Wifi really needs an upgrade too.

Walking distance to the city center, bus terminal, shopping areas and attractions. I stayed on a single room - comfy bed and good sized bathroom with common area at the ground floor. Good brekky as well and amazing staff - they are very helpful. Easy check in and check out process. Will stay here again that's for sure! Recommended!!!

Basic but comfortable.

The staff was very friendly and helped me out with everything. The room had all the basics: shower, towels, very soft beds and some space for clothes. It was comfortable. I did not need to pay more for my service dog.

The room wasn’t entirely clean, Breakfast was not included, and the coffee and tea was not available the whole day.
