Superb! A shame it was so hot we couldn't enjoy the excellent views from the balcony.

The location was superb overlooking Vathi Bay.

Getting to the apartments was a bit of a task through mazy village streets.

Breathtaking views from my balcony down towards Vathi. Owner and his staff very considerate. Clean sheets and towels changed every day. Good working shared kitchen and bbq

Beautiful view of vathy.lovely staff. Great value

Located on a mountain overlooking vathy. Easy if you have a car as we did but very different if u don't. Not much else up there. Apartments are in an original condition but as a result it's cheap

Great hotel with a fantastic view

Beautiful place, with a fantastic view of Vathi. Our host was extremely helpful and friendly. I would certainly recommend this place to those staying on Ithaki, as it's by far the biggest town with the most restaurants, etc. If I ever find my self on the island again, this will be my go to hotel.

Nothing in particular. The only small thing was WiFi wasn't great, but the host was actively working on it, so i will not blame him at all.

Apartment/studio clean and confortable. Large terrace with fantastic view.

We stayed in the apartment/studio deluxe on the top floor. It is clean and confortable, best for two persons. The terrace is huge and has a fantastic view on Vathy. Free parking. Good Wifi. Friendly Host.

We would suggest to have new cooking pans and some more kitchen appliances

Nice and clean room with a Beautiful view.

Beautiful view!! Really nice to have a coffee or a glass of wine with that view. the room has a balcony for you to be able to enjoy the view. and also has a place to hang your clothes if you need to dry them. Nice and big parking, easy to park. The road up to the apartments is steep and narrow, as are all the roads in the island. The place is called “calypso hotel”, and is well marked on the road so you don’t miss it. The room has space enough and is clean. Shower pressure was good as well. There is a fridge in the room, with a bottle of water. There is a common kitchen area where you can cook a meal or prepare the breakfast. Just be aware of the noise not to disturb the others as the rooms are not sound proof. It is possible of walking to the town, but coming back up is quite steep and at night not sure how much light the roads have, so I would recommend having a car. Although I believe a scooter would be way better to explore the island. There’s always the taxi on the town as an alternative. The owner is so so nice and kind, and gave me some nice tips of where to eat and where to go for the sunset. Thank you so much, it was a pleasure to meet you :) I do recommend this place to stay.

The noise the other room was making - obviously not the hotel/owner fault! But because the rooms are not sound proof, I could hear everything including the videos/TV they were watching. Just something for people to be aware.

Very good

Very friendly hosts. Each room has a balcony with a spectacular view over the harbour of Vathi. The rooms were cleaned every day,beds made,washing up done,and clean towels provided. All done to a very high standard. Thanks to Dimitra, our friendly co-host and the one who cleaned the rooms. Would highly recommend a room here for your stay in Ithaca !

Nothing to dislike,but unless you are fit and mobile,and like walking,I would recommend some kind of transport for access to the town,and back to the apartment. It's a 10 to 15 minute stroll downhill to Vathi,but coming back up is quite a gradient,and would be a bit of an effort in the heat of summer !

there are better promotions

view, if you can get the view you ve paid for

we paied for seaview room, leave the luggage nd went to the beach.the view was very good. about 21/00 while we ve been returnong from the beach the owner gave me a call to say that aircon is broken so he opened the balcony door/ 1. how it could be broken while we ve been out and why he get inside? 2. it was 43+ C this day. i said we paied for the aircon room, so he need to give us abother room. he answered, that there are no free rooms, but we ve checked on Booking- there were. he explained that daytime he decided to do repair works!!! in the room about aircon and something went wrong. in the morning it woked perfectly. also the owener siad he is not there so we could speak tomottow abour refund. after long conversation he came in about half hour and gave us another room. we lost time waoting and mooving , cause e were hungry and wanted to go to eat, but he was too greedy to give us seaview room and gave us the one without. we were tired so we started to take shower and so om/ bur he definately spoiled us the last evening on Ithaka, greedy man. we wanted to sit on the balcony enjoying night view and brekfast, but... Verytwo faced man. both room a very big but pretty basic, and its not beautiful inside. the bad waslike from porolon, too soft, not comfy. Booking did part refund

Lovely stay, incredible views

Incredible view from our room over Vathy harbour and surrounding mountains. Comfortable beds, clean and all necessary amenities as well as easy check in/out. The host is a very sweet lady also.

Everything was lovely, I would just recommend that you have a car if you stay here as its quite a hike to the town should you wish to walk.

The views were amazing and the apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious.

The kitchen drawer fronts were falling off - just a small detail that needs to be addressed as the rest of the apartment is lovely.

Clean room with amazing view.

The room had the most incredible view of Vathi harbour and beyond. Absolutely stunning! The room was very clean. Bathroom was large with a lovely shower. Would definitely return. Car parking available at the apartments.

Magnificent hotel,spotlessly clean

Beautiful panoramic views unsurpassed anywhere.

Room was quite warm at night but the manager tried his very best to help and he did.

We had an enjoyable stay at Calypso apartments and we will definitely book again.

Our hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. The The location was perfect with stunning views. Would highly recommend Calypso apartments and we will be booking to stay again when we revisit Ithica.

Great value for money, amazing view from a large terrace.

Amazing view over all Vathy. Super friendly manager. We got upgraded to a very spacious room with a big terrace.

It's a little out from the centre of town, but it's a pleasant walk up.

The rooms offer an exceptional view on the harbour of Vathy. What made our stay particularly pleasant was the kindness of the host and of the whole staff. Hopefully we will soon have the chance to come back!
