Diane was so accommodating and kind. She is a hard worker and is amazing!

A wonderful breakfast was served and ready for us each morning and we were able to set the time for breakfast most convenient for us. The eggs were fresh each morning and the French toast was perfect!

It looks like nothing from the street, but once you’re in the gate it’s magical

The place is absolutely beautiful and laid back. Lovely garden and breakfast room. Owner / operator is a wonderful person and a good cook. Parking was no problem - gated off road. It is a two minute walk to the Tapestry Museum and the town center. Bayeux is a gem.

Enchanting home, charming hostess and lovely gardens in the heart of Bayeux

This is an exceptional property. Rooms were lovely. The gardens even lovelier. Breakfast was superb with a wide variety of offerings. Hostess was informed at time of booking about one of our party's severe food allergies and had adjusted accordingly without being reminded. Very short walk to Bayeux Museum and a great shopping/restaurant district. Loved the hostess. Trust me, she has thought of everything a guest might want or need!

Exceptional

The owner was delightful and very helpful with directions. She spoke beautiful English! The property was in walking distance of all the major sights in Bayeux. The breakfast was delicious! There was a lovely garden for relaxing.

We wish we could have stayed longer because the setting was so beautiful and quintessentially French farm house!

We loved the ambiance, the garden setting and that it was an authentic old French home. Janis was wonderful and her breakfast absolutely amazing. would highly recommend it friends.

The shower design allowed water to flow out onto the bathroom floor.

A lovely stay in a histroic home with a charming hostess.

Charming traditional architecture and Normandy decore. Really comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful host. Delicious homemade breakfast. Great location near Place Quebec where many D-Day tours begin.

cosey, homey, near to both train station and city centre.

cosey, homey, super friendly and charming landlady welcoming you with open arms. wonderful homemade french toast served every morning. all this made our trip so worthwhile. we would like to come back again.

no soap for showering was a bit of letdown.

Peaceful stay in a sweet guesthouse, lovely garden and super helpful owner!

we liked everything! It’s a super nice guesthouse with a beautiful garden, lovely and very helpful owner and the location is excellent on a quiet street with 150 m to the Bayeux tapestry museum and 300m to the centre with the cathedral. Breakfast is absolutely delicious with several sorts of bread, croissants, home made jams and even freshly made French toast.

Enjoyable stay in calm and friendly French home.

Lovely and helpful host. Great breakfast. Nice house and garden. Very friendly and comfortable surroundings. Very close to town and really good restaurants. Host made dinner reservations for us and was very willing to give help and suggestions. This was a memorable and enjoyable stay.

Great stay in Bayeux

Very pleasant stay in Bayeux. Great location near the tapestry museum, a beautiful, peaceful garden, and a very welcoming host who gave us all the information we needed and some more. Breakfast was excellent and very generous.

room size. equipment did not work. floor dirty. no breakfast served though promised and paid for. booked first flor room but in attic. not a place you should be handling

Great in every way

Location was really good as so close to centre. Parking was off road and behind gates, make sure you book though. Breakfast was great. Frankly Diane could not have done more to make our stay comfortable.

It was all good although a large man might have been somewhat restricted!

Overall great experience. Dianna was very nice and sweet and very helpful. The

Breakfast was very good, bed comfortable, host was excellent.

Convenient to everything, including train station and town center yet very quiet. Attractive and atmospheric property with a mix of buildings of different ages and a large garden. Breakfast very generous. Host was informative and helpful.

A hidden gem in the middle of Bayeux

Fantastic location in the middle of Bayeux, within walking distance from all the must-see places and cafés/restaurants! Very authentic French interior design of the rooms with that personal touch and close attention to details, very cosy and romantic. We had a specific time slot for breakfast which was served in a lush and gorgeous dining room in the main house. The breakfast was generous with a large selection of different items to enjoy. The hostess was very helpful, welcoming and nice - we really enjoyed talking with her and the children loved to pet her little dog named Gus! The house garden was like an oasis in the middle of the town and offered a nice relaxing rest after a day out and about.

No remarks, we loved everything about this place!

Cancellation policy. Also it was on the pricey side. But we decided to splurge and reslly enjoyed outhough it would have been nice to have some plain (unflavored) black tea in guests'' kitchen. other

Superb

The host was very helpful in getting us a tour of the Normandy beaches the first day we arrived. Every day, we had a delicious and filling breakfast. The B&B is within convenient walking distance to the nearby Bayeux tapestry museum and to other sites, shopping and restaurants

Perfect location to enjoy Bayeux and all of Normandy!

The location for Aggarthi is incredible. Walk several blocks and you're in the thick of things in Bayeux. We drove our rental car and they provided a safe parking place for us. Bayeux is an incredible town that we really enjoyed. Aggarthi provided a home away from home to enjoy our stay to the fullest. And the breakfast was out of this world!!

The only thing that could have made our stay better would have been air conditioning. Visiting France in the summer can be a challenge, but that was the only scenario we faced in terms of comfort. It did cool off overnight, but leaving the windows open also introduced general street noise.

Great host, great value, great breakfast.

The wonderful host, Diane, was full of helpful advice about excellent places to visit. She even got us a reservation for a very busy restaurant. The breakfast was superb- with fresh eggs from her chickens and dealing competently with food allergies. Free Wi-Fi helped my teenagers. On arrival, that the room was cool on a very hot day just shows her level of thoughtfulness.

The Aggarthi was a cozy, comfortable bed and breakfast in a wonderful location in Bayeux. Our hostess was incredibly informative and helpful. The breakfast was prepared with cared and served in a lovely dining room. Great value!

Beautiful gardens in the heart of Bayeaux

We absolutely loved staying at this sweet BnB in Bayeaux! You enter a large gate that gives you no clue as to what is on the other side and then you are surprised and delighted to find a beautiful garden and sweet kitties napping in the sun. The garden is so pretty and welcoming. The rooms were very clean and spacious - we had two, one for my husband and me and one for our 3 kids. They all had a bed and were happy to have a little more room than usual on our trip. The Inn is located right in the heart of Bayeux so it was really easy to explore and find a great restaurant for dinner. Breakfast was delicious and our host was super helpful with directions and suggestions for Bayeux and our continued journey. I would definitely stay here again and again!
