Perfection! The location could not be better. It’s a 2 minute walk to get into town. Restaurants and shopping are close, but the best part was the amazing warmth and friendliness shown to us by our hostess Diane. She made us feel like part of her family. Her breakfasts were a delight. Once you step into the gates you are in Eden. Two small and friendly dogs and bunnies hop around freely. There are also ducks and chickens. The gardens have a lot of beautiful seating areas as well as a hammock. We met so many nice visitors there and shared charcuterie boards and wine and cider there.
The walk up several flights looked intimidating with our large suitcases but Diane just hoisted them up and marched up the stairs as if they were empty! Private parking is steps away. I could not imagine a never place to stay.
If you have problems with walking g I would recommend a first floor room.

It was a super charming and cosy stay. We felt very at peace there. Diane really goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has a great experience. Big shoutout!

Breakfast outstanding. Location very good. Hostess: very pleasant. Ambiance: loved having dogs/cats greet me every time we came in. Gardens: Lovely
Room was not as clean as I would have liked. Paid for a quadruple room for 2 persons. Clearly our room was only meant for two (one queen bed). We did not get what we paid for. There were 34 steps up to our room by way of a very winding and narrow stairwell. Lights in stairwell did not automatically come on in enough time to actually see where we were going.
