Pleasant

The staff were amazing and very friendly. They provided detailed information on places to visit and places to eat. The best food we had on Crete was recommended by the staff!

The AC didn't work the first night we arrived because the remote had no battery. The staff quickly worked to figure this out and fix it the next day, but it is still unpleasant to experience as AC was a listed service.

Great stay. I wouldn't order any "extras".

Good accommodation away from the masses, quiet location and easy beach access. ⛱️ Breakfast homemade, varied and delicious. 😋 Outdoor rope to hang wet clothes. 💧 Friendly staff, sweet dog. 🐕 Check-in gift of honey. 🍯 Pool is inviting and a nice "come down" after a day filled with activities. 🏊‍♀️

Felt and saw some internal tension amongst the family running the hotel. It's not an easy job. Perhaps keeping it behind closed doors would be more professional. 6€ for 2 sodas (0.33ml). Normal cost 1€. We were considering having dinner at the property one night but after the charge we ruled it out. I later overheard another couple inquiring about dinner - barbecue option for 50€ per person. Not going to fault them for making money, but we spent 43€ in total at a local restaurant for a barbecue dinner (including drinks and a huge salad). I say make the money you can, but don't pass the line into being a ripoff. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Main hallway door slams shut. A hinge that softens the door closing would be ideal, a soft close door.

Authentic Greek hotel surrounded by olive groves in a charming and as yet unspoilt village.

Small attractive hotel in a nice quiet location surrounded by olive groves and an easy walk to the beach, the local supermarket, a bar and authentic tavernas. The staff were friendly and attentive.

The facilities are slightly dated and the door handle to our bathroom had a fault and would not open on a couple of occasions. More power points would help for the charging of mobile phones etc.

Superb

Great, family, and friendly place. Stunning views - mountains on the north, the sea on the south. Good continental breakfast for a fair price, delicious homemade sweets. Very kind host, speaking English very well. Last day we had to leave early to catch our flight, they prepared a take-away breakfast for us in advance. If you take a walk around 1 km nearby, there are perfect taverns, well-supplied minimarket as well. Korakas Beach with its clear blue water is full of life, I saw even an octopus while diving around the cliff :-)

Good value for money but I would choose differently for a more comfortable stay

Pebble beach is walking distance but the great sand beach is about a km away. Need a car to get there. breakfast is available as a buffet but you have to order for everyone staying in the room even if you don't go down to eat. Room was ok. it was advertised as a family room and was split into a living room and a separate bedroom. The pool is great, but only 10 people were being allowed at anytime due to Covid restrictions.

As there are 2 rooms, i was expecting 2 airconditioners. There is only 1 air conditioner in the bedroom so the people sleeping in the living room were very uncomfortable. The hotel did provide us with a fan when requested, which made it bearable. I would hope for some flexibility in being able to purchase breakfast. when asked for a change of towels, we were told that as your booking is via booking.com, they would change towels and sheets only once in our 5 day stay and clean our rooms also once in 5 days. It almost felt like we were being given a different treatment as we used booking.com to reserve our rooms.

Calm place in the nature very close to the beach!

The beach was really close to the place and not crowded. Natural beautiful clean beaches, calm streets. The owner and her family was really helpful and kind with us! Supporting us to find sights to see.

The room would have been more clean but according to Greece and the price, I think it was OK. AC was in the room and working properly during our stay.

Very good

The apartmemts were big and we were 5 people. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is absolutely superb - Rodakino is the gem of Crete - some stunning beaches and small coves for snorkeling. However, the best of all is Polyrizos beach which is 1km from the apartment and is hands down the best beach I have seen in Crete. If you have children the shallow sandy water is perfect - you can literally walk 500m out to water and it's still only be waist high. Plus the secret restaurant on Peristeres Beach is the best food I have ever eaten in Crete. We ate there 4 nights in a row. Stunning.

Very little not to like - maybe the rooms could be updated a little bit but not much really.

Superb

Everything else was perfect! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Location to the beach was awesome and beautiful!! Close to plakias, 25 minute drive. Plenty of little restaurants close by. The pool was a nice size with shade to accommodate the sun. Breakfast was good. I cannot stress enough how great the people were!

It was a real nice villa. Very homely and calm. We could hear the waves from our balcony. The staff was very friendly and attended to our needs very well. We even got complimentary (probably homemade) liquor drink. Breakfast was homemade and simple. Was a nice change to the hotels we were staying. The room was spacious yet simple. The place has seen better days.

The fridge in the room was covered in mold; didn't really bother about this much since we were staying only for a few days. The sheets had a brown stain but this was exchanged promptly when asked for new sheets.
