A basic hotel, but fantastic value for money. The room was very clean, the lady at check-in was really friendly and helpful, and the location was great (not in the main restaurant area of The Strand, but joined on to Shorehouse Restaurant, which was where we were going for dinner), and right across the road from the beach. There’s also a lovely coffee shop/cafe/bar just a couple of doors up the road, with nice food, cold drinks and a fabulous view. We stayed here for one night after a week on Magnetic Island and it was perfect, so we plan on doing it again next year!

Location is great, staff were lovely and the bed was very comfortable! Old school size family room, with a decent sized bathroom and was very clean.
