Nice house but uncomfortable beds

The pool was nice and everything was very clean. The staff was very friendly too. And the location also.

The beds and pillows were so hard and uncomfortable and it was super loud during the night.

Avoid this property

Dire cooking facilities - rusty electric hob plugged into a dangerous looking socket. No kettle. Handle missing from the one saucepan and a disgusting looking frying pan. Request for replacements completely ignored as was our request to have a rubbish bin. Leaking toilet in bathroom. Balcony furniture very old and view from the balcony overlooked run down properties. Cupboard door hanging off. - Overall a dreadful experience.

The pool and breakfast area. The staff that tried their best to help with the bedding situation.

The beds were very uncomfortable, we had to ask them for extra foam mattresses in order to make the beds a little more usable, but that still didn't help. We ended up adding sofa cushions and wool covers to one bed in order to sleep in it, at the end nothing helped and we had very bad sleep experience. The bathroom had no way to stop the water from going all over the floor and there was no mop, it was imposible to enter the bathroom after someone took a shower. There was only one small soap. There was no soap holder in the shower. The furniture in general was very outdated.

Lovely, family run hotel with fabulous pool.

Fabulous hotel for the price. Our room had all we needed and was cleaned regularly. Beautiful pool that was never over crowded. Lygia has some great seafront tavernas for dinner and the bus stop taking you to other resorts on the east coast is just a few minutes away from the hotel. But what really made our stay was the lovely family that run the hotel - they made us feel completely at home. We would highly recommend!

Exceptional

The accommodation at Polyxenis Rooms is just amazing. The personnel was very welcoming and helpful. Every time we had some question or wish, they helped us (renting a scooter, ordering something not listed on the menu...). There is nothing we weren't satisfied with. The room as well as the rest of the building was clean. The pool was great, always clean with perfect temperature. Also, the breakfasts were delicious. We would definitely recommend Polyxenis Rooms to all travellers coming to Lefkada.

Very good

The hosts were amazing, so lovely and kind, felt like part of their family. The breakfast is great, the give you few different options. The location is also great, bus stop is near by so easy access to the main town centre (lefkada). The pool was a great size and lots of sun loungers to chill on. Amazing value for money.

The room was fairly basic and the kitchenette was right next to the beds, but for the price this was expected and their was a balcony in our room so this made it more spacious.

The family was wonderfull and so helpfull with everything. It was like coming to some old friends or relatives. We got problems with the tire on our motorcycle and Eddy, the father drow me to the tire shop and helped out as well. Big thank's

The room, although very basic, was comfortable enough for one night.

The room was a good size and very clean. The place was not too far from the centre.

The kitchenette was very basic, with no kettle and only a very rusty portable hotplate. The shower was actually just a showerhead in a wet room. There was no sea view from the balcony as advertised. The mattresses were very hard, on iron bedframes.

Apartment in Lygia

The owner is a very nice lady, friendly and very willing to be of help. At the moment that we arrived she helped us with everything for the check-in in a very short time. - The rooms are very clean - The seaside is close to the location, but you have to walk about 10 minutes to reach the beach

- The wind is whistling through the hallway making an annoying noise - The couch from the kitchen is not the most comfortable to sleep on, so if you need to stay on it more than one night it will be crazy

Relaxing, fun, welcoming, wish we could stay longer.

The family who run and own the property were so kind. Made us feel so welcome (definitely check out their bar ‘The Art Bar’ down the road). Any questions we had they helped answer and organise, transport for getting around the island. It was a beautiful area and the hotel was so clean and well managed. Would recommend anyone to stay here and I would love to go back!

Very pretty place!

Well maintained property. Calm and quiet - it is located 50 meters to the road, but no problem with the noise - the sound insulation was excellent. No big hotels, bars, restaurants nearby guarantee the silence if you need it. Our rooms were enough spacious and both terraces too. The hosts are smiled and helpful. In the rooms minimum needed set of cutlery is available, but no range hood. That's why our hosts were so kind and allowed us to prepare caught by me sea fish in the kitchen unit outside. At distance 150 - 200 m you can find small restaurants and supermarket, a little harbor (may be in 400-500 m) and fish restaurants too, so if the fishing is not successful you have clear alternative ... :-)))

Everything was OK. In the hotel there is a cafeteria, offering some sandwiches, salads, etc. In the future the possibility to order in advance 3-4 local dishes for dinner, not especially mentioned in the menu will only add value to this place.

Home vibe

Nice atmosphere, we felt home here. The hosts all of them were really kind and every time on point when I asked for something. The room was clean. They have A.C. and fridge in the room that i consider a big plus.

The bathroom facilities can be improved, but I am sure that they will make it. But it doesn't seem like a big problem in comparison with the all good things that are here
