My husband stayed without me - I had had a medical problem and had had to fly home. He kindly drove the car home and loved the stay, it was easy to get a bus into Nancy & he loved visiting there in the afternoon after parking the car at the hotel. He had a delightful meal and he said the room was full of lovely touches with the furniture and large and spacious. A fantastic bathroom with a huge bath and shower. The staff were great.

Peaceful pleasant garden and location despite being very near a big city. The lady serving breakfast was delightful and tried to be very helpful. The food was good but not really special as their website suggests. Very little use of local ingredients. One “menu” was entirely lobster based- not local to Nancy!
It was not functioning as a hotel despite being described in the Logis guide as a “Hotel Elegance”. Retro, quite tatty furniture. No bar and we were not even able to get a drink before the restaurant opened at 1930. We went down for dinner and to sit in the garden with a glass of wine at 1915 and we were told “ this is not a hotel”. No drinks until the restaurant opens.
