Loved the location it was very close to Yu Road Moving Walkway. Loved breakfast and dinner it was traditional Japanese food, so delicious.
It was sad that the onsen was closed for the entire time we were there. But I did visit the public onsen that was near by. We were in Room 6 on floor 2 and the heater unit gurgled. The gurgle was fixed, then it leaked water. Then it gurgled again. We got used of the noise. The rest of the family was in the next room and they didn't have any problem with their heater unit. Despite these issues we would still choose to stay here again. We loved the food, location and friendly staff.

The owner Wakaba was one of the warmest genuine helpful person we have met on our travels. Such a great find as a Nozawa Onsen base. Great room, laundry facilities and restaurant.
The breakfast is a traditional Japanese breakfast and whilst awesome, having an alternative would have made the experience better.

Convenient location to get to yu road ski access escalator / lady at reception was wonderful and smiling
Older facilities. It we know this when we booked so we got what we paid for/ Japanese style accommodation and futon bed on floor
