did not have the breakfast, would have probably been better to have tried it.
found the overall atmosphere to be welcoming.
found other guest to be lack luster in following cultural respects, so this is not directly on the proprietor. The attitude and lack of respect for customs and Onsen rules was a bit disappointing. Some of the other guests and including some of the foreign temp staff showed carelessness for respecting the culture.

Lovely staff + the cat Poru! Perfect location, honestly couldnt be any better, so central next to the terminal, ski hire & main street. Dry room for snowgear was handy + the onsen was perfect.
Discounts for snow gear was great too.
The mattresses were pretty stiff especially after skiing but everything else was great.

Good location, nice & friendly woman at counter
Onsen room is freezing but the onsen itself is scalding hot , difficult to bathe. Maybe it’s for the locals who like scalding hot onsens
Small room.
No fridge, water dispenser
Some other guests were rowdy and there was a man who vomited in the woman’s toilet…
