Excellent bed and very cosy duvet on cold night.
Unit 19 accessible bathroom needs some maintenance work.
-Shower rose unit very wobbly.
-Vinyl lifting and bubbled in walk-in shower.
-Vinyl badly stained by leaking shower controls.

The location and staff were great. Good place to
meet people. Nice common area.
WiFi barely worked. I didnt really understand the kitchen cleaning time at 10am. It made people rush to get their breakfast in.

super social hostel. Would highly recommend and would stay again with a really nice outdoor area, bunk beds are super comfortable and a unique touch is the hot chocolate pudding and ice cream served each night!

Great, cosy, friendly place to stay. 15 minutes walk from the coach station, 15 minutes from the centre of town, close to loads of hikes, but also very peaceful in the evening. All the staff were really amazing and helpful, particularly as I missed the only bus from Picton and the guys rearranged my stay no worries. I found this hostel to be the most friendly place I have stayed so far in NZ and was really easy to make friends and find other people to do hikes and things with. Also there's free pudding every night! Really can't fault this place. Thank you to all at Tasman Bay.

really nice areas to socialise, friendly staff, room was very spacious and nicely layed out
about 15 minutes walk into town but we didn’t mind!

Bit expensive at $78, very limited off street parking, had to park on the street (Staff occupied a lot of car park space which I believe should be mainly for guests)

Great location great staff and cool vibe
Our double room out back was constantly damp, I think it's been converted to a room but not done well, so not "healthy living", we were feeling unwell in the room and it was absolutely dripping with moisture in the morning.

Our room was beside kitchen was kept awake from 2am to 5am by constant banging of drawers.
