The old couple I believe who ran this place were extremely friendly and made us feel so welcome here. During April, the onsen was empty (only 150yen additional to use it) and the futon beds were surprisingly extremely comfortable. The view from the room was nice, the room really has an authentic Japanese feel to it. The breakfast was delicious!!
Everything was great but make sure to plan your route here well, some trains and buses can be infrequent

Close to the monkey park, within a reasonable walking distance. Quiet location, wonderful staff and experience.

Loved the onsen, very generous breakfast, spacious rooms and soooo quite. Loved it! Also the hosts were very sweet family.
