Great location right in the heart of the Old Quarter, with restaurants, tourist attractions, and everything you might need within walking distance.
The staff was extremely polite and helpful — they booked a spot for us on one of the most beautiful tours we’ve ever experienced in Lan Ha Bay, helped us exchange money into local currency, and also reserved tickets for the water puppet show.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was okay not brand new, but clean enough, and towels were changed every day.
Overall, because of the amazing location and the helpful staff, this place is definitely worth recommending.
The only compromise of such a central location was that the window faced a wall, so there wasn’t much natural daylight, and it took a bit of time to get used to that.

- The hotel was located very centrally in the Old Quarter
- The bed was very comfortable!
- The staff were kind, super helpful and friendly!
- Decent breakfast
- As it was central to the Old Quarter, some nights you can hear clubbing music from the early hours onwards (3am - 9am).
- Our room view was just a plain wall
- Shower temperature was difficult to adjust to your preference as it would go really hot/cold with slightest movement
- The way the shower/bath is set next to the wall, it causes a lot of water to drip onto the floor so the floor gets very wet
- On our second night (after our room got cleaned), we noticed that there were a couple of blood spots on our bed sheet and pillow but after that, nothing more
