It’s such a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. Everything is amazing . The food is delicious as well .We had an amazing holiday at Tarakagawa Onsen.

The setting was stunning. The meals were incredible (and huge!). The rooms were comfortable and generous.
Only having a single shower house near the hot springs was a little odd. I wouldn’t have minded an indoor shower closer to our room.

The owners have a wild adult bear in a cage. It has been there since it was a cub.
Apparently the owner caught the bear as a cub and has held it in this cage for many years (possibly 9 years).
