Lovely simple breakfast of fruit, eggs and toast served in our private garden pavilion. Loved the peace and serenity.
The fridge in our “marble room” needs replacing for one that is newer, bigger and more efficient.

Location of the villa in the palace gardens was amazing.. The garden and water features are beautiful. The villa is large, two storey and beautifully decorated with its own pool. Breakfast was yummy and brought to us in our own dining room. Value for money.
Why then did we rate it as a 6? Because there was a week long arts festival happening in the grounds. There was a massive stage set up in one of the palace pools facing in the direction of our villa, less than 100metres from our verandah. The amplified noise started at 7:00am and finished 9:00pm The sound literally shook our villa. Closing windows , curtains and using earplugs gave us no relief it was a huge disappointment. We knew it was a popular tourist destination but weren’t told about the festival. After complaining to management they kindly offered to move us to another property that they owned which we accepted. It was a huge 2 storey timber beach house.. Unfortunately not much of a beach. Very wild and rocky with lots of rubbish. We appreciated the staff efforts to take care of us.
