Exceptional, such a nice memory

The decoration of the whole hotel is traditional which adds a lot of charm to your stay. The room was big and clean. The staff was particularly nice and happy to help you with anything. The pool and spa are medium but nice enough for a nice relaxing moment after a sporty day. The location is perfect, in the small and charming Samoëns village, very close to hiking an skiing places - and with nice cafes, restaurants and typical cheese & bread shops!

Fantastic break, hope to come back!

Lovely pool and comfy room with great view. Easy distance to walk into the restaurants and town centre. Ski bus at the end of the road made it v easy to use the main gondola.

Excellent - good location, welcoming and comfortable accommodation

This was our second ski trip to Samoens and it didn’t disappoint. It is such a pretty little town with plenty of restaurants, bars and cute shops. The location of La Renardiere is good, the ski bus stop is just opposite the entrance to the driveway. Excellent that you can order fresh bread to be delivered each morning for breakfast, it tasted amazing. Rooms are well equipped, comfortable and clean. Had a wonderful massage in the hotel spa, so relaxing after a few days skiing. Only a short walk into town, plenty of nice restaurants however you do need to book several days in advance for the more popular ones.

The temperature of the water in the swimming pool was too cold, it did not make for a pleasant experience. Similarly the jacuzzi/hot tub needed the temperature of the water raising as it was a bit tepid. It is quite a walk to the main supermarket, however you can hop on the ski bus during the day.

We loved our stay here and were discussed returning next year before we’d even left. Thanks very much to the owner.

Beautiful cosy property, everything clean and tidy with a bar, pool with a hot tub and a games rooms. Nice walking distance to the town and a 10 - 15 minute walk to the Grand Massif ski lift. There is a bus also but we like to walk.

The heater in the room couldn’t be turned off so had to sleep with the balcony door wide open to let heat out. Free Wi-Fi didn’t reach our room fully, we stayed in 302. The skylight in the room also leaked slightly.

A beautiful place surrounded by gorgeous mountains.

Beautiful building, lovely rooms and views. Relaxed atmosphere. Kind, discreet, helpful staff. Our children were quite noisy at times, but the staff were gentle, good-humoured and forgiving. All in all a lovely 4 days.

The attic upstairs had no windows except one dormer which didn't stay open easily, so it was quite stuffy for the children to sleep in. Otherwise no complaints.

Close to nice hikes. Very nice receptionist. Convenient bedroom. 2 bathrooms. Clean. Big table. Balconey. Convenient bread service. Indoor pool.

Old electrical stovetop. Sitting area is old and inconvenient.

great short term break, but not for a week. needs more facilities.

clean, great pool, wonderful charm and character.

Hotel closes at 8.00pm and have to use night door. Bar facilities poor and again closes at 8.00 pm. would be nice to have a drink when returning to the hotel after a meal and be able to sit on the terrace.

Good, spacious, clean apartment that is v close to Samoëns village centre & the GM Express.

Really enjoyed Hotel & Samoens.

Location, near town centre with lovely views over the mountains. Indoor pool was very welcoming. Kitchen area of apartment was excellent.

Beautiful village, beautiful ski area, way too crowdy however on the slopes.

Samoëns is a very nice village. Very picturesque.

Very difficult to go out and have diner in a restaurant. All fully booked upfront. Few après-ski possibilities.

Superb

Great hotel with reasonable prices. Very cosy, close to the village, but in the calm area. 15 min by foot or 5 min by car or shuttle bus to the ski lift. Good pool area. Cosy lounge with fire place.

Kitchen a little bit old kitchen stove, but still great tools enough for cooking.

We had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely consider returning again!

We enjoyed the independence and comfort that our room/kitchenette gave us. The "ski bus stop" just across the road was excellent and the Grand Massif lift was also very accessible.

The BBC/British television channels were not working; but I enjoyed the French ones!

Great place for getaway

The location is perfect.3 min walk to town center. The view is astonishing

They charge extra for a lot of things , and it’s not mentioned in hotel description on Booking.com. For example the WiFi costs 25 euro, the cleaning is 40 euro .

Excellent property to which I will happily return.

Very conveniently located and also quiet. Lovely setting with excellent facilities for families including 2 pools. Great for summer and winter.

Mattress a little uncomfortable. Kitchenette doors could be removed!
