Enjoyable stay

Very welcoming staff and beautiful grounds. The barman was lovely and was very chatty. Our room was very comfortable and big. The reception staff were helpful and organised us taxis when needed.

Superb

The size of our room, the view, the silence around the facility, how close it was to the 'downtown' and to the lake. The breakfast was very good, in a beautiful, charming room with romantic tableware

Vegetarian/vegan options could be a little bit more varied from day to day. Also, it would be nice if the hotel had free/cheap bikes for its guests

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Adolphine, and would be back again!!

Villa Adolphine is a hidden gem in Tegernsee area! Breakfast service was great, and so was the covered pool area. It's in an amazing location, quiet and has all the comforts one could think of for a short-to-long stay. Owner/ Adolphine team are amazing people, and they were extremely accommodating with all our requests. We will surely be getting back again, around winter break next time.

It is a lovely privately-run hotel, in ideal location: 5 min walk to Tagernsee lake, 5 min to the bike rental shop, 20 min to Wallbergbahn (the lift which goes up the mountain for sightseeing and hiking). The staff is very friendly - we arrived after official check-in time, so the keys were left for us in the mailbox, very kind) Excellent well-balanced breakfast (have food choice for both meat-eaters and vegetarians); very fresh and delicious bread and bakery! We lived in spacious 2-rooms apartment with a garden view (i believe this was a suite or lux) on 1st floor, #121. everything very tidy, bed and beddings are nice and comfortable.

Excellent stay in Rottag Egern

The room was very large and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and staff was very attentive. Location is very quiet which is ideal or a good night's rest. Still, it's only a short walk away from the lake and from several restaurants. I will definitely come back again.

The shower and bath tub are combined, which isn't my personal preference. However the quality of the shower was excellent.

Exceptional

We celebrated my wife's birthday. Specially served breakfast on the terrace. It was beautiful, even a festive cake-dessert was offered. We rented 3 rooms in the villa together with friends - everyone is very satisfied. Excellent villa, bright, vintage style - like from Carol's fairy tale "Through the Looking Glass". The staff is very friendly. Large area, because the villa is part of a large spa complex. There are areas for relaxation. Beautiful place - there is where to walk.

This is not a minus, but more "thinking out loud." Ordered Prosecco for breakfast in the morning to celebrate a birthday in the morning. It turned out later that the bottle cost 500 euros, despite the fact that in Lidl you could buy Prosecсo for 8 euros :)

an oasis of calm and tranquility

a lot of attention to detail ( decor). beautifully kept garden: very tranquil ( an oasis of calm ). very helpful and friendly personnel . I loved the tea and water facilities. breakfast superb . we thoroughly enjoyed our stay .

Sauna weekend at Tegernsee

The breakfast was super nice with plenty of different choices like salmon, fruits, cheese, ham and good drinks. The decorations were very cozy with kind of Indian and spiritual touch. The personnel was very friendly and switched on the sauna however we were the only guests using it.

During corona time the swimming pool was closed. The rest was super nice.

Our room was facing the street and with many windows facing lamps. Since there was no real shielding in the windows, there was too much light to sleep well. The problem was that we have booked a stay in Villa Adolphine, which is on all pictures at booking.com, but were placed in a different building at the entrance above the reception. Simply, we really did not get what we paid for and we feel somewhat cheated.

Excellent stay in Tegernsee/ Rottach Egern

The hotel ambience is very nice and relaxing. It is nicely decorated. I had a single room but very spacious. I felt like a princess with the bed, it was soft and comfortable to sleep in. Hotel's breakfast was also good. Breakfast was served on the table and there is alot of choices for the breakfast from müsli, bread, cheese, salami etc. The place is located at Rottach-Egern. Quite far from Tegernsee but there is good transportation system from the hotel to other parts of Tegernsee. A walk from hotel to the lake takes about 10 mins. There is a big garden outside the hotel where one can relax.
