It was great value for money. The staff accommodated me with a ground floor unit as requested and the room was clean, the beds were warm with the electric blankets and very comfortable.
The street noise from the hoons in their cars later at night was a tad annoying.

paddlewheel is easy to find. just average all round. leaving was a relief.
first up was a sad greeting at reception and the smell of curry cooking. Bedding! sheets screwed up under occupants as were not 'fitted' or wide enough to tuck under firmly. blankets were fluffy and too hot. no doona as such. A really fluffy dirty cushion was placed middle of pillows on arrival, two other cushions placed behind it were questionable. toilet was way too close to shower screen and difficult to be seated without some gymnastics. grout in the shower tiles was filthy. 3 piece sliding screen door, which are notorious for jamming, needed attention. bursts of very hot water during showering detected. tiny thin towels. Garden beds neglected. About 6 or 7 motels along this stretch, we picked a sorry one. This section of highway must be the local speedway at night. duped by the name obviously. 'paddlewheel' sounded like the echuca i once knew.
