The dorm was excellent, with 8 'boxes' stacked tight together. Short way entrance, which is my favourite. Huge lockers, which for sure will fit all your stuff. Enough room to pack your stuff. The attached bathroom was superb. Everything was clean. Excellent location right in town. The tram from the bus station stops nearby. Excellent WiFi. You got a 4h free cancelation after booking, to warn you about the noise, which wasn't bad at all. Nice though, but having a bar at the hostel was just what I wanted. The rooftop covered, all weather bar has a nice view, and you have the novelty of an indoor bar here where smoking is allowed. Spot on for me. The hostel is fine for a short stay, but don't book extra nights to hang out, because......
There are NO common areas at all!....until the bar opens at 5pm.
The location is wrong both on maps.me and on Google maps, search for Heritage hotel instead. It's in the same building.
If you stay in the female dorm, then you have the kitchen right next to your room. But that door is really only there teasing you, because it's a mission and half to use it. You'll need to take the elevator 8 times!!! Down, walk across, up to reception, pick up keys, reverse, do your stuff and repeat. At least it could be a kettle somewhere! because finding a decent coffee in the cafes doesn't happen. They are either way too small, too foamy, too weak or served almost cold. The breakfast area has a coffee machine which knows how to dispense just hot water, but the lady in charge just says: 'It's ONLY for breakfast'. Seriously can't they spare a cup of hot water when you bring your own mug!!!
