We had everything we needed, and more. The whole place was well designed and laid out to enable a fantastic experience.

The only thing we thought could be improved was signage and a clear route back to our accommodation. As we had our own car we had to drive back to the lodge from the main site, sometimes in the dark, through areas where the animals lived. Not ideal in unfamiliar territory!

Gondwana Private Game Reserve My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and it was everything we hoped for. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had this cozy winter atmosphere that made it feel like we'd stepped into a movie. We stayed in the 3 bedroom Kwena Lodge villa, which was lovely and can comfortably fit more than 3 people — great for bigger families or groups. It has 3 large bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and private balcony, all overlooking beautiful views of the landscape and nature. Sony, our safari ranger, made the experience even better. He's a funny guy who mixes humor into his explanations, and his knowledge of the animals and plants was seriously impressive. Thanks to him, we managed to see all of the Big 5 — an incredible experience. The entire staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, and a few people in particular deserve a mention: - Timber– Porter - Delvin– Porter - Durand– Reception - Vital– Duty Manager - Zandile – Restaurant Food: The booking includes full access to the restaurant, so breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all free — a great touch. The food was excellent and catered to everyone, including halal options, which we really appreciated. Even on the game drives, they take care of you: coffee and hot chocolate on the sunrise drives, and food on the sunset drives that holds you over until you're back at the restaurant. Tip: 2 nights is the perfect length of stay. That gets you 4 game drives total (sunrise and sunset each day), and every single one was stunning. Overall, a truly special place for a honeymoon — highly recommend.

Gondwana was a lovely experience. The staff were so helpful and welcoming. Especially the Lehele Lodge dining staff, they went out of their way to make sure our big group was happy with our meals. Our guide was very knowledgeable, and made us comfortable on our game drive. We saw many happy relaxed animals enjoying their natural habitat.

Villa was far away and I face a problem early morning around 0500 early morning the electricity was off in case of emergency?? and no connection to call reception coz no one available during night!!!! This the first time in my life seeing this and I was charged more for silly thing which is number of the kids and I booked Villa 3 rooms and we are total 7 2 adults 5 kids
