Webersburg

The estate buildings are discrete, private and beautifully managed. Rooms are period, clean and perfect for a few days of relaxation. The sound of the wild birds fills the air with an expectation of magnificence. The facilities and staff more than match the expectation. Everyone we met from the moment we arrived to our departure was pleasant, attentive, and listened to what we had to say. From exceptional wines to cuisine, I noticed detail. Very impressive. I’m glad I spent my Birthday here. At my age I tend too forget birthdays, not this one.

The location and the friendly staff

Webersburg is a beautiful estate - the staff were lovely and the wines delicious. Breakfast is served in the main hall which is drenched in sunlight, in fact you have to wear your sunnies to breakfast - not ideal after all the wine of teh evening before :)

The cottage was cold and drafty, with a great big chimney sucking any warm out of the rooms. A nice cozy fireplace with comfortable couches would have been such a welcome savior on such a cold weekend. We selected the cottage so that we could spend time with our friends and ended up huddled in beds instead.
