It was a reasonably priced option with a nice restaurant next-door so we didn’t have to drive far.
It was a bit too far from the lake, so the view is not quite as spectacular as we had hoped.

It a and older hotel but you choose this hotel for the perfect location and view on Mnt Fuji. Early morning when the sky is clear you can see the mountail mirrored in Lake Shoji. The room is nice and comfortable and there s a small seating area in the front with a nice view on the lake and Mnt Fuji.
Go outside the hotel and turn right for a small but "homey"restaurant with nice food. Make a reservation first because its a small restaurant.

Everything. Nice spot and not crowded. Very peaceful. Staff is very welcoming and accommodating. The room is clean and has a perfect view of Mt. Fuji.

The location on the side of the lake and the view of Mount Fuji were the main attractions of this hotel but, unfortunately, their enjoyment was very much dependent on the weather! The staff were very friendly.
A very traditional and basic hotel looking a little ‘tired’. Whilst its location is an attraction, its isolation can be a problem. Arriving at 6.45pm to be told the hotel restaurant had closed and the nearest restaurant was 40 minute drive away was not a good start to our stay! Breakfast was bookable at an extra cost with a choice of Japanese or American which was a little limited with no alternative or additional choices to make it a satisfying experience!
