Pleasant

Good budget accommodation, clean and comfortable. Value for money. I had an issue with water leaking from a kitchen pipe, plumber was organised to fix the next day. It was a good locality for what I needed to do.

Sheer curtains on the windows would have provided a sense of privacy when the drapes were open. I found I kept the blinds closed during my stay.

BE WARY OF THIS FACILITY. My partner and I stayed a full month at Malibu Apartments while looking for an apartment to rent in Perth. On the night of our arrival (which was also our first night in Australia), the facility's automated check-in system (a digital safe) malfunctioned. We spent one hour and a half trying to get in touch with the manager by calling the out of hours number (which is written right above the safe) without success. Another guest saw us struggling and tried to help us, by repeatedly calling the out of hours number and sending messages to the manager. Nobody answered the phone or the messages, and we were forced to relocate to a nearby hotel for that night. The manager refused any accountability for what happened, as he “sent me all the needed directions to access the room” via Booking.com after viewing the messages sent by the other guest. Directions that I had simply no way to receive and view, since internet connection is not offered at Malibu Apartments (we came all the way from Europe and did not have Australian phone numbers with mobile data yet, meaning that outside of airports we had no access to the internet). The manager never tried to call us or contact us in other ways, never answered the phone, and refused to refund us one night out of the 30+ we spent at his facility.

It was a great stay

Location is perfect for travelling in the city centre of Perth. The room was pretty clean with towels provided. The parking is good with sufficient spots.

The wall is quite thin, so we heard people staying next to us pretty clearly. The fan of the toilet is also a bit too loud, which might have also affected others if we used the toilet at night.

I don’t recommend this place to any visitors from overseas. Staying here was the worst traveling experience in 30 years.

location is good. close to bus stop which takes visitors to city center very easily. The bus stop (Newcastle St After Strathcona St) is within free zone. It’s convenient to have a washing machine in the toilet.

old facilities especially kitchen gears are VERY VERY old. The TV connector is out of order. Manager was irresponsible. told me that my credit card failed just 1 hour before my check-in. He should have verified this earlier not during my flight. I learned this after my plane landed.

location is walkable to city centre. fully functioning kitchen. parking is behind building away from roadside.

had prob with tv reception tv arial connection isnt good. after supporting cable it functioned good

staff really good parking good location good ----- facilities not good when power goes out.

all of the above good to v/good

power went out for a day and I lost $50 worth of food in the freezer and I could not get in contact with any one. Rang Adam the manager on 11/04/23 and he refused to reimburse me.

Very good

Always a good stay. Been there a couple of times when tralling through Perth.. Private, good value, good location, all amenities. Far better than a CBD hotel. Walk to Leederville restaurants.

Superb

Malibu apartments is a perfect place for a bit longer stays. It really felt like home. Everything was clean and tasteful. Big kitchen, bathroom and balcony. They had renovation going on at the time of our stay, but it didn't bother us, since the labourers were very polite and it wasn't noisy at all. Manager was very helpful! Lots of parking spots, good public transport connection, bus stops were right in front of the house.

Very comfortable, and somewhat unexpected.

The location was great, near freeways and access to north Perth and Leederville. Parking was convenient, and the unit was clean and tidy. Adam was also very good, welcoming and knowledgeable.

No internet and TV reception were interrupted. Not sure if the antenna needs any attention for the building.

Good budget stay

Great location only 10 mins walk to cafe strip in leederville. Clean. The extra touches like washing powder for the machine and a drying rack for our clothes were really appreciated. Free parking.

Reasonable accommodation for a couple of weeks stay.

Unit was clean and tidy. Cooking facilities were good. On site caretaker was helpful. Bed was comfortable. I would use again if I go to Perth again.

Sometimes unit above could be noisy at night Ceiling fan would have been nice to have for air circulation.

Exceptional

Good location, near CBD. Ask everything from Paul he can explain all hints of Perth. I came early with a kid and I was checked in earlier than usual time, special thanks for that Paul. There was all kitchen equipment with dishwashing detergent, an air conditioning system, a washing machine with washing powder, a vacuum cleaner, an iron and ironing board and that is very helpful. If you forget something in the room after checking out you can call the property manager and pick it up later. Safety and quiet place, suitable for families and people with children.

Furniture is old-fashioned but for this price it's okay.

Perfect stay

Everything was perfect. The only thing is the apartment does not have Wi-Fi. If they had Wi-Fi connection they would be 10 out 10. Mr Adam was very helpful!!
